城堡飯店(Castle Hotel)

Bus no.16 can reach hotel from Dublin Airport. Just 1 minutes walk from bus stop. Hotel staffs are very nice and helpful. Delicious breakfast with beautiful surroundings.

I checked in on the 13,spent 2 days ..lovely friendly staff clean ,food was nice also the music in the nights in the restaurant..but just one complaint,I did not have any hot water to shower for the two days which was a big disappointment..

立地、サービス、清潔度、アメニティはとてもよかったです。ですが建物の作り自体がおそらく古く、上階の人が歩くたびにギシギシ音をたてて部屋が揺れ、夜中に度々目が覚めました。大袈裟かもしれませんが最初は地震かと思ったほどです・・廊下を人が歩いても、声や足音が聞こえます。エレベーター前の部屋はかなり煩いのではないかと思います。私の部屋はシングルのスタンダードでしたので、別のグレードのお部屋だと違うかもしれません。

2021年11月末我在酒店 外面很冷。 浴室的推拉窗沒有正確關閉，有 2 厘米的縫隙讓冷空氣進入 浴室裡很冷 此外，不可能從淋浴龍頭中獲得冷水。 水很熱 我住了2晚 我在第二天早上向酒店前台和管理層報告了這些不便 什麼都沒做 我發給管理層的電子郵件沒有得到回复。 兩年前我已經在這家酒店住了兩晚 當時有繪畫作品，你必須跨過腳手架才能進入房間 總之我不推薦這家酒店

Questo è l'albergo più vecchio della capitale irlandese Baile Àtha Cliath, ed è semplicemente wow - dall'arredamento ai servizi, ma anche lo schrichiolio che si ode caminando per i corridoi e nella camera - ti fa immergere nell autentica atmosfera di Dublin Georgiana! (Non so perche quasi tutti i quadri sono storti, però fa parte dello fascino generale). Lo staff della reception, disponibilissimi e gentilissimi H24, e i ragazzi in servizio ai bar/ristoranti ci hanno fornito ulteriori confort e soddisfazioni, per quali dovrei solo complimentarmi! Non posso dire lo stesso per chi ci faceva la camera giornalmente, forse non sa di lavorare in un posto a 4*, ma non è un lamento - siamo stati benissimo lo stesso. La strategica posizione ci ha permesso di esplorare tutti i siti d'interesse rigorosamente a piedi (bisogna precisare che la fermata di alcuni bus si trova a giusti due passi), e di apprezzare la assoluta tranquillità. Sappiate solo che i gabbiani di Dublino giarriscono già dalle 4:00 - sveglia garantita per chi ha l'iperacusia 😅, sono ironica! Sono da notare le colazioni per tutti i gusti, scelte, disordini e allergie nutrizionali, le cene abbondanti (da provare e ripetere la seafood chowder), e persino il pranzo a sacco per chi è in uscita presto. Tappa obbligatoria dopo una giornata fuori è il The Castel Vaults, dove di fronte a una o due pinte di Guinness si impara a canticchiare la tipica musica irlandese e non solo!!! PS: per chi arriva privo di un addattore, o per chi ha bisogno di una bottiglia d'acqua da prendere in pigiama, è a disposizione un distributore automatico lungo il corridoio adiacente al front desk!

Nous avons passé 3 nuits avec ma fille dans cet hôtel tout en découvrant DUBLIN Tout nous a ravi ; l'accueil , le décor, le personnel souriant, l'ambiance cosy , les bons conseils du réceptionniste, la soirée musique, le petit déjeuner irlandais ... Tout y était !

This review is not a reflection on the staff which were wonderful people! As Jackie said in the previous review (friends we were with). The hotel itself is not somewhere you would stay given the following issues. Out of 5 couples, three of us had to have our rooms moved because they were so substandard and in disrepair. Our first room upon entering and turning on overhead chandeliers …the shade fell down off of it and hit me in the head. Went to use bathroom and the toilet seat fell off the toilet! Lights over bathroom sink and in bedroom were not working. The room was in the mid 80’s and stifling. We stayed there the first night with windows open but because of trash bins nearby. Seagulls were screeching the entire night! The next day we insisted they move us so we went from the 4th floor to the 2nd. I was told there was an elevator as our bags were heavy. Upon getting off on the 2nd floor we still had to go down several stairs and of course drag our bags back up at the end of our stay. No bell service. There are staircases throughout hotel so be advised you will be lugging your bags yourself all over. If you stay in the separate quarter in the Mews where my sister stayed you are dragging you bags up 30 steps as there is no elevator. Our room was better than the first but of course no a/c so had to sleep with windows open to courtyard that was noisy all night every night for next 7 nights we were there. The hotel is not maintained as it should be. I have been to grand very old hotels well maintained and this is not one of them. Please see attached pic of one of the walls! The water pressure in our room was nonexistent. As my husband said, you have to run around shower to get wet! Ate dinner there and was disappointed. I ordered bangers and mash which are supposed to be mashed potatoes but what I got were powdered potatoes from a box! We are in Ireland eating fake potatoes. Went for breakfast first day and that was our last day as the service was extremely slow. For remainder ate the continental which was ok nothing special. The only hotel lobby bathroom is only one toilet for everyone so most days you had to wait if you didn’t want to go back to your room. Location is a bit away from most prime areas and alot of beggars even outside at front door. This was not an inexpensive hotel and the quality, service and accommodations are poor.
