The Merrion is a Hallmark of service and sheer quality. We arrived to be greeted by a friendly concierge and the news that our room had been upgraded to a junior suite.
Lunch in the Cellar bar was an absolute joy and friendly, well clued in staff made the experience more special.
The room was fabulous, with every comfort you could imagine. The bed was so comfortable, as were the couches.I cannot speak too highly about the service at this wonderful hotel.

The Merrion is an exceptional hotel in every way. The cleanliness, beauty, detail and attentive and welcoming staff cannot be surpassed. I was only here for an evening but very much hope to come back.

The Merrion is a beautiful hotel in immaculate condition, the staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Great swimming pool, spa and gym, which opens early. My only compliant was I bought an expensive bottle of wine at dinner. We were a group of eight and it was probably our fourth and best bottle, we received 6 glasses, I tasted and approved the wine and then the waiter poured it out into 6 glasses, none left for me and one other.

This is now the basis of comparison for how we expect to experience a 5 star hotel. I would recommend staying here to anyone who values a thoughtful and courteous staff, fantastic food, expdiant turnover service and an overall personalized experience.

A real 5 star hotel in the centre of Dublin catering for all needs. Fantastic staff, spacious rooms, excellent spa/pool/gym smack bang in the centre of the city.

Overall our stay was great except one small thing , that also happened on our previous stay , at breakfast, as I’m gluten intolerant I asked for some gluten free toast and I’m literally still waits for it !!! Even though the waitress was asked 3 times for it ! I give up in the end, one of the excuses was that the toaster was very slow !!!!! If you don’t have gluten free bread tell me, but you really should have !

This is a very beautiful upscale location. The service was excellent and the facility could not have been more beautiful. Right in the middle of good area for shopping and bar hopping.
