尼斯湖旅館(Loch Ness Inn)

This trip was everything and more I had envisaged staying in a small village on the edge of the lock surrounded by scottish highlands. The hotel was the best, the bar was the locals choice,which created an atmosphere that was warm,friendly and very engaging. The restaurant was second to none and the staff were impeccable.

Last minute booking and what an AMAZING little gem! Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms with a great little pub. I definitely recommend having the breakfast here too! 2min drive from Urquhart Castle.

Room was lovely, very cosy in the rain and cold, condition was good, very clean and modern Service in the evenings was ok, mornings wasnt as good, only one person for everyone and he coulsnt coordinate things very well Food was just ok, smoked salmon wasnt smoked salmon Dinner menu must have changed compared to what was advertiaed

Wonderful lodging and dining, with nice amenities. Make sure to make dining reservations in advance, even in the shoulder season. We stayed in Inn room #12, which is the only ground-floor room, adjacent to the restaurant. While the room was lovely and the proximity to the restaurant was no bother, we could hear everything happening in the room above us — every step taken, every word uttered. Bring earplugs!

Great hotel for a family stay in Loch Ness. Comfy room and lovely breakfast. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was great and the staff were all fab.

We made a poor choice. The Inn was too far from Inverness where we wanted to be. We felt under pressure to book at the Inn's restaurant for dinner every night when we did not want that. The rooms were too claustrophobic for the price.

As pleased as we were, we were given the best room for our circumstances, also the room was beautiful, clean and the Inn it’s self was lovely and in a great location, there was a few points on service that let it down. At dinner we were served by multiple people, our drinks order was taken by someone, then our meal order was taken by someone else, 10 minutes later we still hadn’t received our drinks so we had to ask someone else. After our starter we had to consistently ask for cutlery for our main, then again ask with our desert. In the morning before breakfast we phoned reception as we required an iron and didn’t have one in our room, reception told us Housekeeping would be in at 8am and they could ask them but they didn’t think they had any. Which is a bit disappointing when clothes have been in a suitcase and crushed. Breakfast - There was only one girl on service to serve 10 tables and the poor girl was being pulled from pilar to post. We were served our breakfast, was quite a small breakfast and didn’t come with beans and we weren’t offered any sauce, so unfortunately it was pretty dry. We were told that we would need to wait on our toast as there was other orders in but by the time we had finished our breakfast our toast still hadn’t arrived. This is absolutely no reflection on the girl who was on breakfast service she was very pleasant but being honest she could of been doing with some assistance serving 10 tables herself to meet everyone’s needs.
