C’est calme, mais quand j’ai eu un problème d’urgence le médecin n’est pas venu

Wij reizen elke vakantiedag naar een andere dag en deze zondag belandden wij in het Ibis Budget vlakbij het station en de Somme in Saint Quentin. Kamertje is klein, maar wat wil je voor deze prijs, wel schoon en netjes. De auto had een mooie plek onder het hotel door op eigen parkeerplaats van het hotel. De stad en omgeving (maar daar kan het hotel niets aan doen), viel ons wat tegen voor een stel met een hond.

Arrivée le jour du beaujolais nouveau, se voir offrir un verre accompagné de saucisson cacahouètes et le tout dans une ambiance familiale!!!! Bravo l équipe continuez c est top...toujours un plaisir de loger chez vous on se sent en famille...

Venue visiter St Quentin le w.k. très bon accueil dans votre hôtel , petit dej très bien , chambre propre . Rien a dire , parking extérieur non payant face a l'hôtel .petit bémol matelas trop dure et oreiller un peu petit mais dans l'ensemble s est bien .

This was a great stop over location on a long journey driving across France. The secure carpark (which you pay approx £5 for) was a great asset to save unloading the full car. The bedrooms were small but clean and adequate for a quick overnight stay. We arrived at around 23:30hrs and reception was still open. Reception staff pleasant. Breakfast was available but we did not buy this option. Check out was midday, which was handy as it gave us enough time in the morning to walk up to the main square, have a look at some of the pretty buildings, around a few shops and the cathedral before we carried on our journey.

Stayed here before a few years ago and it's been refurbished and felt better for it. Staff were really friendly and helpful, breakfast was good value and room was comfy and clean. Car park was secure but was an added extra but safe and worthwhile, we travelled on motorbikes.

Good location but the room was open plan to the shower and wash basin. The door to the toilet was a thin piece of wood. We couldn’t find a kettle anywhere in the hotel so we couldn’t make a hot drink. Bed was comfortable and there was free parking directly outside the hotel. The main parts of St Quentin were only 5 minutes walk.

The clue is in the name - a budget hotel, which is compact, clean and modern, with basic eating services, absolutely adequate for an overnight stop, with secure private parking. The rooms are designed for compactness. Ours at the back, overlooking the car park, was very clean and surprisingly quiet for an inner-city location. The bed was comfortable. There was no tea/coffee-making facility in the room, but there is a bar and breakfast room next to the reception which served drinks, microwaved simple snacks (lasagne, hachis parmentier, etc, etc) and desserts, all on demand. The staff on arrival and departure were very friendly and attentive, serving us with an evening bite to eat. The car park is accessed through a shuttered doorway at the side of the hotel and costs €6 a night. As an overnight stop, it suited us and our purse very well, whilst still providing all the budget facilities that we needed.

We were meant to stay for only 1 night but decided to extend our stay by 1 as we were impressed by many things: - the lovely, friendly, smiley employees at reception - it is extremely clean - breakfast was incredible (free range eggs, delicious cereal bread, nice juice and coffee, organic agava syrup, Bonne Maman hazelnut spread, yummy small croissants and pains au chocolat...) The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is because late afternoon on our only full day there, we found out that there was a problem in the loo (constant flushing noise). That was a few hours after the 'pommeau de douche' fell on my partner's head while he was showering as the 'support' was broken. We had to move to another room. So for 1 hour, we packed then unpacked when all we wanted was to rest before dinner out. It would have been nice 'en compensation' to offer a reduction on our bill...

We always use this hotel for a one night stop over when travelling to the south coast of france or to the Alps it is very convenient for us. The beds are very firm which we like, sheets and duvets are good. Secured parking is a bonus. Breakfast is just right and is served from 4am which is handy if you have an early start. 2hrs from the Eurotunnel. Loads of great restaurants close by. We will always come here.

Greeted by friendly cheerful receptionist and aided to find and enter my room by equally friendly, cheerful and helpful chambermaid. Delighted to find a lift (not usual in these hotels in my experience) and also a more than adequate evening meal. I would definitely return.

We booked 2 rooms for a family stopover on our way through France. Due to unforeseen travel delays we didn't arrive til 3am but there was free secure parking available and the reception desk was still manned. The rooms are basic but very clean and ideal for a short stay and there was plenty of hot water for a shower in the morning. Breakfast is a continental buffet and plenty of it for hungry teenagers! Would highly recommend.

We stay in this hotel for several days , a least 3 times a year. The staff is always very welcoming, and cannot do enough for us. They always give us our favourite room. I love the breakfast.There are lots of fruits (kiwi, apples, fresh fruits salad, oranges, mango juice), yaourt, ham, cheese, bread and croissants and pains au chocolat. It is possible to park in the private car park for a small fee and the hotel is within walking distance for the centre. Many thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Situé à proximité de la gare, le parking est facile. Le personnel est à notre écoute. Un système astucieux permet de manger à toute heure sans perdre de temps. On adapte facilement son repas à sa faim. La chambre est sympa et fonctionnelle. Adresse à retenir pour un autre passage
