breakfasts are great, the hotel is very nice and friendly.

I recently stayed at this hotel, which is self-rated as a 4-star property. However, based on my experience, it would be more accurately categorized as a 2-star hotel. Firstly, my booking inquiry through Trip.com was never responded to, which was disappointing. The room itself was spacious but quite dated, and the view from the window was nonexistent—contrary to the advertised mountain or sea views. The behavior of the support staff was unprofessional and discourteous. They often shouted across the hotel and seemed more focused on their own conversations than attending to guests. It appeared that many of them might be personally connected to the owners, which could explain the lack of hospitality training. Security procedures were excessive, with all belongings scanned upon entry. Additionally, important policies—such as the prohibition of outside food, drinks (including alcohol), and restrictions on visitors—were not disclosed on Trip.com, which felt misleading. The overall atmosphere was not welcoming, especially in public areas, and I did not feel respected as a guest. The buffet breakfast was also disappointing, with many items appearing stale and poorly prepared. In summary, I would not recommend staying at this hotel. It did not meet basic expectations for comfort, service, or transparency. If possible, I would give it a negative rating.

The a/c wasn't working. I had to wait for 4 hours while going to the reception every hour. They still didn't fix the a/c. Also they charged me for my stay again at reception even that I paid online. But they refunded the money. Its just not worth it

The room was very clean and tidy. The location is right at the center of Cox’s Bazar, which was very convenient. I really liked the staff — they were humble, friendly, and very cooperative.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The staff were extremely unprofessional and rude. From the moment I checked in, I felt unwelcome. They seemed careless and unwilling to help with even the simplest requests. The service was slow and disrespectful, and no one seemed to care about the guests’ comfort. Definitely not recommended — I will never stay here again.

I had high hopes for Ocean Paradise Hotel based on the photos and location, but the experience was very disappointing. The service was extremely poor—staff were inattentive, unhelpful, and seemed uninterested in guest satisfaction. Simple requests took forever to fulfill, and there was no sense of urgency or professionalism. For the price they charge, I expected much better. Definitely not a place I would return to or recommend.

Ocean Paradise Hotel has a lot of potential with its nice view and location, but the service is a major letdown. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the staff were either undertrained or simply didn’t care. The front desk was disorganized, room service took forever, and no one took responsibility when issues came up. We were left waiting for basic things like clean towels and water. It’s really unfortunate because the hotel could be so much better if the staff and management put more effort into treating guests properly. Definitely would not recommend until serious improvements are made.

We had a horrible experience. My family was with me and we travelled from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar by car. When we asked for the extra bed we paid for, they delayed and misbehaved with us. It was for my mother. Then on the spot, we attempted to leave the hotel and they stopped us and offered some compensation. upgradation. Later they didn't keep their word. Their check-in desk and management are very unprofessional. They even didn't apologise during our check-out.

This hotel is terrible. The staff isn’t cooperative at all. They only give one room card in a room occupied by two people. Even after we explained that we need it for our convenience, none of them gave us the key. The elevator is dangerous. Keeps getting stuck and stopping on every floor even though no one called for it. They deactivated our room key one hour thirty minutes before checkout. Food isn’t good. They are very disrespectful towards customers.

Ottimo albergo vicino al mare con eccellente colazione, presente anche piscina e palestra. Stanze comode, TV da aggiornare (modello un po' vecchiotto con pochi canali esteri), alcune stanze un po' rumorose ma fortunatamente riesco a dormire dappertutto

Kudos to the exceptional hospitality and staff behavior, especially Mr. Saiful, who proved incredibly cooperative. Despite these positive aspects, a couple of considerations for improvement stand out. Firstly, the discontinuation of warm water in washrooms after midnight during the winter season seems inconvenient. Additionally, a reconsideration of fixed air-conditioning temperatures in rooms could enhance guest comfort. Moreover, while the food at the rooftop restaurant exceeded expectations, the complementary breakfast fell short. It lacked essential seasoning, particularly salt and necessary spices. A refinement of the breakfast offerings to match the deliciousness of their regular menu would undoubtedly enhance the overall dining experience. Notwithstanding these minor considerations, the overall positive experience during our stay at Hotel Ocean Paradise significantly overshadowed any concerns. The commendable service, outstanding amenities, and delightful dining at the rooftop restaurant make it a highly commendable choice for future visits. Hotel Ocean Paradise truly stands out as a top-notch destination, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable stay for any traveler.
