北星飯店(The North Star Inn)

The North Star Inn offered our family a nice, quaint place for our Ark Encounter visit. It was within a 10-minute drive to the Ark Encounter. The room was nice and provided us everything we needed for our short stay. The staff was amazing and was available when we needed something. Overall, a tremendous experience. We will stay again on our next visit.

This is a sixties or seventies era property that has charm, is well kept and the proud owners and staff make every effort to be excellent. I can recommend The North Star Inn. We stayed several nights to go to the Ark Encounter as well as The Creation Museum. We will stay here again.

I don't think I have ever delt with a friendlier bunch of people. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. It's a small Inn but not a disappointing one. We were exploring one morning while waiting for breakfast and encountered the caretaker coming out of his residence. We all talked like we'd been friends for years. He showed us some of his woodworking projects and photos of the animals that come out to be fed. I won't stay anywhere else if I'm back in that part of the country.

This is the greatest motel. It is close to I 75, but you don’t hear the truck traffic. The room was spotless and so comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good and the waitress, Amanda, was so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this motel.

My stay at the North Star is always amazing! I have staying with the family owned and operated place for over a year and I highly recommend it to others that are going to the area! It is close to the Ark Encounter and that is my happy place!

We loved the fact of the check in with no contact. We called and they gave us a code to get in the door. That’s pretty much where it ended. Our room was a nice 75 degrees. A little warm for sleeping in our opinion. We tried to turn Down the air conditioner and all it did was rattle more. The refrigerator never stopped making noise. The “continental breakfast “ was no more than cereal and Little Debbie’s muffins and donuts. When we asked about the “sack” breakfast. they offered to take with us to our rooms they handed us a plastic Walmart bag and said we could take whatever we wanted. Would we go back NO. It was aNO TELL MOTEL worth about $50 a night at best.

It is a quiet inn in rural Kentucky! Wonderfully nice staff and great service! They had a complimentary breakfast and it was better than most hotels! Totally recommend. Check in is a BREEZE. we stayed here for a Kentucky football game and we didn't make it back in time to check in with a staff member so we called ahead of time and they sent us our room number and code to get in, which they stated resets the day you check out so it's safe. Such an awesome place!

Our stay at The North Star Inn was very pleasant and cozy. The room was very clean and comfortable. No complaints. When we entered our room we got greeted with a personalized welcoming card and snacks. We would definitely stay here again. Unfortunately my husband and I got sick on our trip and had to leave early. The staff even went way above and beyond by searching our room after we had left for a set of missing keys. I can’t give the Staff high enough praise, they were all awesome.

We booked here to go to the Ark Encounter and it was a good value. Not too far from the attraction. However, dining choices for lunch or dinner were very limited in the area.
