灣畔海濱別墅(The Beach House at Bayside)

Wir waren für 3 Nächte in diesem B&B einquartiert. Parkplatz vorhanden. Die Anlage befindet sich ca. 10 Autominuten ausserhalb des Zentrums. Bei der Ankunft war niemand da, jedoch war eine genaue Beschreibung zu unserem Zimmer mit den Schlüsseln aufgelegt. Die Anlage ist in die Jahre gekommen,die Zimmer sind im Stil 70 er, dafür sauber und die Betten verursachten keine Rückenbeschwerden. Heizung war auch vorhanden. Es waren nur wenige Gäste da und es war dafür ruhig. Das war gut so, denn wenn das Haus voll ist hört man jedes Husten. Die Gastgeber waren freundlich und entschuldigten sich mit einer Flasche Prosecco für den fehlenden Zimmerservice. Die Reinigungskraft war in den Ferien und es herrscht Personalnotstand. Da packten wir selbst mit an und erledigten den Zimmerservice. Das Frühstück wurde von einer Dame namens Sandra? gemanagt. War gut und aufmerksam.Sogar eine Nespressomaschine war vorhanden. Fazit: Nicht nachlassen und dies und das erneuern.

This is a small privately run B&B in Collingwood on the outskirts of Albany. We had a duplex one bedroom Garden cottage with small private garden, parking right outside, which was immaculate, plenty of space for cases, a very comfortable bed. On the ground floor was a cosy lounge, with small kitchenette for making tea and coffee along with a good sized fridge. The bathroom had a good sized jacuzzi bath with shower overhead. There were ample toiletries and towels. The bonus was breakfast being included as well as an afternoon tipple of port and some homemade cakes. Both upstairs and down stairs had individual A/C units but with the breeze blowing we found no need of it. There is a nice long beach side walk from the property up to Emu point. This is a great place to spend the day in the sun with the warm waters and low tide levels. The couple who the B&B are very charming and have put a lot of love into ensuring their clients are fully catered for. Despite being out of town this is definitely not a place to be missed.

Lovely BNB, very nice and clean off street parking and a very comfortable bed. Wonderful breakfast with lots of choices and all fresh and yummy. Joanne really looked after us and was always happy to help with anything. It it a short walk to Middleton beach and an about 8 minutes from the city centre and just a short walk to the golf course. A perfect place to stay

Good: The Beach House at Bayside is in a cul-de-sac with a few other houses near to the beach. To get to the beach you go down the end of the cul-de-sac, down a cycle path and across some dunes before you can actually see the sea. Not so good in the dark but the sandy beach is worth going to and stretches a long way from emu point and back to Albany. Good nights sleep once we turned the fridge off. Spiders in the shower were an added bonus. No breakfast at the Beach House, apparently due to covid, but they gave us vouchers to Emu Point Cafe which is about a mile down the road where we got a decent breakfast in an impressive location. Up early for breakfast next day but no one around so headed off without breakfast. Not so good: TV in inconvenient place. Fridge made a loud noise. Path to beach felt a bit isolated. Didn’t seem very friendly.

This is a very nice B&B in a suburban/golf course area of Albany, close to the beach... but not very close to anything else (town or restaurants). Lovely welcome and most friendly staff. Nice cozy and comfortable room. If you are into jacuzzi baths, it protrudes half way into the bedroom. Slightly odd. Well equipped and even with a complementary glass of port before going to bed. Breakfast is nicely presented and delicious. We were given lots of information about what to see in and around Albany, which proved very welcome the next day. The only real drawback of this otherwise fine B&B being that one has to rely on one's own car to go out to dinner.

We were recommended to the Beachouse at Bayside by our travel agent, who just said that it was the best place to stay in Albany. He was right! We were looked after brilliantly, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The house is very well situated, just a few minutes walk from the beach, and while it is some way from the centre of the Town, Craig and Sally drove us to our restaurant on the first night, and arranged a complementary taxi for us on the second. The room was quiet and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and there is even a decanter of port outside your room for a late-night top-up. We loved it! And we would recommend it like a shot to anyone needing a bed in Albany.

A wonderful place to stay, we are so sad that we were here for just one night. The rooms are really nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious and made with love. The staff is very very very friendly and helpful - guest service as it's best!! Thank you for this awesome stay!

We had a wonderful stay here; a lovely comfortable room, excellent breakfast and Craig gave us an exceptional welcome, helping us plan our itinerary and organising suppers for us. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here. Definitely 5*

Could this be the friendliest B&B in Australia? Most likely! We loved our stay, were so well cared for and the property was clean, spacious and even had a fully stocked quality mini bar. We took part in the lovely Chris**as lunch, which was delightful and a felt like a home away from home. I can’t rate this place enough. If you are going to Albany, this is the place to stay. Right by Middleton beach and the proprietors make your stay ever so special!
