OMG! Do not stay here! Door looks like it has been broken into! Bedding smells! Paint chipping in room! Landscaping is terrible! I can't say enough about this place! Non refundable! TERRIBLE! Enamel in bathtub chipping! Beds are are hard! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING APPEALING ABOUT THIS PLACE! DO NOT STAY HERE! AWFUL!

Booked room online based on photos and Amenities. The tub had been painted over. When you took a bath the paint would be floating in the water. The refrigerator was rusted and leaked water. The floor was so dirty. I had to clean it. Advertised bar and restaurant open, breakfast spot and bar were open just 1 day. The TV had a snowy picture, maintenance person, explained that is the picture. They don’t have cable. Really unbelievable!

We recently booked a reservation for 3 nights at International Palms Resort In May for November. Luckily we only drove 1 hour to this resort. We arrived to find a sign in the front glass doors to lobby.. CLOSED PERMENANTLY We just drove back home after a quick lunch and short look at the ocean. Good thing we were not out of state visitors. We have stay at this resort many times and it was always being renovated. Looks like there were big problems at this property forcing them to close. Traveluro booked our reservations and refunded our money. Trip Advisor and Traveluro need to take this resort off of your travel desination list.

An excellent dining experience, we would give it 7 out of 5. Take your time and interact with Christine and the chef; it’s such an intimate setting and a perfect opportunity to learn more about this Teesside culinary artform. Remember to pay attention to the Chicken as well as the fish. The chefs spend years perfecting their art and consider it as important as all the other ingredients. Soak it all in – the tradition, the skill, the respect, the service, all amounting to the quintessential dining experience.

I am from Trinidad and Tobago and was visiting family in Charlotte NC. I was fortunate to have visited this Museum and Mr. Darren McGill took his time to take us around. Mr. McGill is extremely knowledgeable and the emotion with which he described the historical scenes made you feel as though you were right there. I recommend that this Museum be on your ‘to-do’ list. Excellent place especially for children. Thank you!

This place has some serious potential. Unfortunately it needs to be gutted and renovated. The electricity is SCARY! When you turn on the bathroom light, there is a loud pop above the bed in the room. Outlets are half out of the wall- literally. The woman working the front desk was EXTREMELY kind and helpful. The location was nice. The pool was packed, but was a nice space. Take “fitness center” off the list of amenities right NOW! Way overpriced for the dump of a hotel, but again- it COULD be wonderful.

I was booking hotels for a family vacation in Florida. I was kind of tired of planning and making reservations, I saw this hotel's website and it looked pretty good. I didn't bother to read reviews, but I sure wish I had. In my entire life I have never been to a hotel this bad. The lobby looks ok, nothing fancy but nothing to worry about. There was actually a line to check-in and three employees working at the desk. We checked in and headed to our room. In driving to our parking lot, a lot of the buildings just look old. Not painted, abandoned, handles missing on the doors, etc. I thought it was just some older Florida hotel, but the rooms would be nice. How wrong I was. Unlocked the door. The stench of mold hits us as we open the door. The room is absolutely awful. There entire wall is moldy, not just a bit, the entire wall. The beds look disgusting and not something I'd ever want to sleep on. I took two steps into the room. Then just said, NOPE, and walked immediately back to the lobby. There is no way I would ever stay in this room. It was the Artemis 1 launch weekend so the town was pretty much sold out, but I'd rather sleep in my car than sleep in this room. The front desk worker immediately gave us a refund. She didn't seem surprised, I guess this happens all the time. I'm not some person who has to have a perfect hotel room. I've stayed in 3rd world countries at places that cost $2 a night. This was the worst hotel I've ever seen in my life. Their website is a complete scam, it is nothing like what is shown on the website. Basically to sum it up, DO NOT STAY HERE.

This place must have been great once, but now it’s a tear down. We got in off a late flight and we’re looking forward to a good nights sleep and a day at the pool before I had to go to work. The lobby was dated but the staff were friendly. At this point we were not going to be picky about anything - we just wanted our room. Got to the room and just couldn’t believe it. Called the desk and they said no other rooms were available … parking lot was deserted though. We debated sleeping in the rental car - it was THAT bad. It was obvious that they had flooding issue they just covered up. There was water damage 4-6 inches up the walls that had been painted over, moldy areas in the corners, cracked tiles from the subfloor giving way, etc - I mean this was not just a housekeeping issue this is structural and a health code violation! The bathroom was “cleaned” but not clean. The refrigerator was so loud it was like having a running vehicle in the room so we unplugged it. The air conditioner worked. The floors were filthy and our socks ruined. Never used any other amenities because 4 hours later we found another room and moved to the Hilton just down the street. $60 more but we’ll worth it. Funny thing - Hilton has supposedly purchased that property and it’s scheduled for a tear down. They apologized when we told them of our experience. Our room was so bad that if the rest of the rooms were like ours (bottom floor NE corner from the pool with deck), they should be condemned now!

This was the worst experience my family has had with hotels. We checked in for two days and checked out after 10 minutes. My grandchildren immediately began to react to the mold covering the bathroom ceilings and permeated the entire suite we were suppose to stay in. Many of the rooms had no doorknobs on them. The children said they felt very unsafe given the overall condition of the hotel. The one star is for the refund we secured upon our departure. Do not know why this hotel is not condemned. It would be if it was located in Minnesota.

My family and I stayed at International Palms Resort on our trip to Cocoa Beach. There are many room types you can choose from Economy King or 2 Double Beds, Double with fridge and microwave, 2 Queens, King with Sofa, Poolside Cabana, Oceanside King, Oceanfront King or 2 Doubles, Oceanfront 1 Bedroom suite, 1 Bedroom Villa, 2 story loft with kitchenette, and a Family room. Check in is 4pm check out is 11am. There are vending machines for snacks in the lobby, but the drink machine was down when we were there. There are ice machines located outside. There is a restaurant located there called Mambo's Bar and Grill. We didn't eat there. There are 2 pools located at the resort 1 is a Jr. Olympic Heated pool. I believe it went to 8ft. There is plenty of chairs to sit at. Pool was well heated. It was in need of cleaning the sides of the pool had mold inside it. Also, there is a kid pirate-themed pool. Pools close at 10pm. The resort has plenty of parking in the parking lot. Parking is also FREE. Free Wi-Fi. There is also a game room/Arcade. We didn't go inside to check it out. In the middle of the resort is volleyball, tennis, and basketball court. There are 2 floors in the resort if you get the top floor there is no elevators for carrying luggage upstairs also there are no carts to help carry luggage to your room either. Tv was very snowy we had only a few channels that we could watch, we thought it was maybe our room but later we changed to another room and the TV was the same. There is no room service. You have to call front desk when you need towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags. They were always fast about bringing them so that wasn't a big problem. They will only clean your room after your 4th or 5th stay. The bad thing about this is our floors got so dirt from the sand. You could not walk around barefoot or with socks. The only 2 real problems we had was one time I asked a maid outside my room who had a cart with toilet paper on it if we could have roll of toilet paper and she was very rude and said I work on the top floor you will have to call front desk. It wasn't that she couldn't give it to me, it was her tone and unfriendliness. Everyone else we had contact with checking in, checking out, and maid who would bring us towels in the morning were nice. The only other issue we had was our first room had not 1 but 12 coach roaches. When I went to office about it the person put us in another room without any trouble and we never had any issue with them in the new room.

After reading the reviews after I had booked, I entered our room with lowered expectations than the photos and great trepidation. We are on day four of a seven day stay and it’s not nearly as bad a half of these fussy reviews. It’s needs updating but we have a room that sleeps 7 easily and is right on the beach. Staff is amazing at bringing anything we need. Now to be fair lightbulbs probably shouldn’t need requesting but they brought them promptly and even the broom I requested for our stay. The pool is huge and fun and the tennis and basketball courts lively at night. The restaurant has fun live music. Maybe there are prettier updates rooms but if hog look past peeling paint, a little chipping on the bathtubs and blah furniture it really is a fun decent place to stay. Would stay here again with my family of 7. It’s not a 5 star it’s not a 4 star maybe not really a 3 star but the place is filled with happy families laughing and enjoying the beach. I feel like a lot of these people writing scathing reviews are the Karen’s no one wants to take a vacation with.

Our hotel room is absolutely disgusting. There is sticky stuff all over the floor and the bathroom tub is peeling to what looks like use to be paint. There are holes in the wall from where a tv use to hang that has not been patched up. We drove 10 hours to stay somewhere nice and can’t even walk the floor without having shoes on And to add to this disaster, the light covering in the bathroom has fallen on the floor and broken everywhere. So we walked into the bathroom to broken glass. Which is more than just a safety hazard. When I called the front desk they offered a 10% discount which is kind but no where near satisfaction to what we had walked in to. We got moved to a different room with still major issues. The tub did not have a stopper to fill up with water and “ocean front” view is only if you choose to keep your windows open throughout the day with no privacy. There is no balcony or any way to enjoy this “ocean front” I will never stay here again. No one to help us in any way and when I called I was dismissed by the manager saying she already read my response and just said “sorry”. This needs more than just an apology. I will be contacting corporate.

This place is horrible. I can’t even imagine how it past inspection with the city of Brevard County they should be ashamed of themselves. I was trying to be cheap yes but sometimes you just want to save some money for a weekend getaway. I went in the room with my family and I went straight to the bathroom. No,no,no, this place ain’t even fit for a dog. It’s was nasty and disgusting. They need to burn it down and rebuild from scratch. Sorry not sorry. I told my kids I was sorry, lol felt like a horrible parent. Ugh! I would rate them a ZERO if I could. Taking all these ppl money and not fixing nothing up, shame on these owners.

This is my first review in many years. I have stayed at this hotel back when it was a Holiday Inn. In the past 30 years, I have been here at least a dozen times. This visit was sadly disappointing. The place has become rundown. I could not believe the condition of this once beautiful resort. It is true, I learned that it has been purchased by a major chain and will be flattened and rebuilt. That explains why literally no upkeep has been maintained. There is no security, so do not bother complaining about all the ***** and drug activity on site. Good luck with parking when people from other hotels come to go to the ocean, even with the public park next door. We did have a cockroach in the room- but it 'is' Florida. Looking out over the ocean is beautiful, but don't look down, the lawn is peppered with cigarette butts. With the poor ventilation, whatever your neighbors are smoking will come right in your room. (Other than the AC, there is no ventilation- not even in the bathroom) We complained no less that 6 times about the cigarettes and **** permeating our room. One afternoon it was so bad I insisted an employee come in the room to smell it. All that happened was housekeeping showed up (The one and only time we saw them) and unloaded a can of orange stuff in the room, which smelled horrible. We had to leave the room for over 6 hours due to the fumes. One time when I called to complain about the *****, the lady on the phone literally asked me what I expected her to do about it. On check in the young lady with purple hair was rude and has no people skills. You won't get near the pool, it's the friends and family plan, way over crowded. Other reviews are correct, beds are not as advertised, small, and quite old. The room itself is a good size. Fridge hard to adjust, but nice to have, along with microwave and dishes in the cupboards. The views are beautiful off of the balcony. Ocean access is perfect. Mambos has the best bartenders and a great place -family friendly to hang out. Hopefully the new owners will restore this property. If you don't mind the exterior peeling paint (it's bad), the **** (it's bad) the cigarette butts, the over crowded pool, then by all means, grab a room here. It's really more of a party hotel at this point- lots of people renting one room and partying. Clean it up and the families will come back.
