This place is so convenient. Easy valet parking. We self parked in the garage - plenty of spots - but then we saw how quick and easy the valet is so next time we will valet! Location is in a fun area with lots of shops. Easy to get to all the Cincy highlights. It seems like it might be noisy but our room was very quiet at night. They have a small but clean pool, a small but easy and friendly coffee shop, and the front staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little small, but bed was comfy. One note: we only had one USB port in the whole room 😄. Lesson learned: always bring plug-ins for your devices. There were plenty of outlets. The hydrangeas in front of the hotel were so stunning!
We stayed here with our toddler. We were on the 5th floor in a double queen bed room with a patio facing the inner atrium. It was a clean room, plenty of space for our toddler to run around in. We loved the patio cause we would go on it and enjoy a drink from the bar while our toddler slept. We also ate breakfast on the patio as a family. The coffee shop Kidd Coffee was really good coffee! We had the cheesecake from the restaurant for dessert and that was good too. The valet were always nice and helpful, including Patrick. Valet did take a long time at least once so we started to call for the car 15-20 minutes before we needed it. You call for the car via text and you'll get a text when you car is coming around.
Craziest Worst Hotel Experience In summary don’t stay at Homewood suites Midtown Cincinnati!!! They may screw up your reservation, let strangers in your room, rebook you but forget to tell you it’s not for the whole stay you were expecting, enter your room and touch your belongings, throw out some of your stuff, shove your stuff in a cart and essentially evict you due to an error on their part. I booked a five night stay at the Homewood Suites In Midtown in Cincinnati a week before my business trip and had a confirmation email. I checked in on Sunday evening with no issue. Monday after a long work day, I returned to the hotel, my key card did not work and there was a stranger in my room watching tv. Totally unsettling seeing that I was a woman by myself and the man in my room who could have went through my stuff or touched my underwear and toothbrush. We went down to front desk to figure it out with an employee. It was determined my reservation was marked as a “no show” in error. The front desk clerk got the man another room and she made me a new reservation so I could keep my original room. The employee said she would tell billing to give me 50k points and a free food item from the snack bar. I was okay with this, but the next day someone called at 5pm and told me I would need to get my stuff out of the room because the hotel was booked. I explained I had a reservation through Friday but that I would be at the hotel at 6:30pm to discuss with them. I arrived at 6:20 and asked for the manager. She was not available so I waited in the lobby. About 5 mins later I asked again for the manager and was told the manager was in my room packing my stuff. I was appalled! I told her, “why didn’t you tell me?! I would want to pack my own stuff and not have a stranger go through my things!” Feeling completely mortified someone was touching all my stuff (clothes, underwear, toothbrush, makeup etc) I quickly got to the elevator, to find the manager. I found her in the hallway with a cart with all my stuff shoved inside, some in the suitcase some just loose. I had a heated conversation with the manager and the only answer she could give me was that the “no show” opened my room for other reservations and the hotel was booked and she could not give me any room. I told her the front desk employee gave me a new reservation the night before and knew it was thru Friday. To which she explained the hotel was already booked and she only could have only given me the one night. So I asked, why didn’t that employee tell me the reservation was only for one night?! I could have packed my bags and found a new hotel earlier that day. To say I was infuriated would be an understatement. The manager said she discussed this situation with her GM and they decided I should be moved out. So essentially I was evicted, they broke our contract due to a mistake by the hotel. I got the GM and the managers business cards and asked for a call with the GM but the manager said she was
KKaitlen SImmediately upon checking in I was overcharged by $300 for my already booked stay. Staff tried to explain the days rates and said I was being only charged for $75 cleaning fee, but swiping my debit card I wasn't given an option to type in my pin and was immediately charged $851. The staff were very combative with myself and another guest who was checking out and they were also overcharged for their stay. They explained they had a system error and thats why we were overcharged. I was already upset because I was to be in town for a full week and this overcharged stay took most of the money I was going to use for that. I checked in and went to my room. The room was dirty with smudges and dirty fingerprints on the windows, tv, and bathroom light switch was caked in dirt. The bathroom shower had mold in the tile and the baseboards has hair and dirt build up from obviously not cleaning. The duvet had multiple areas of dried blood and hair on the mattress. For a Delta Marriott I expected way higher standards and was not given that with my stay. After discovering the blood I decided to check out the same day, staff couldn'tv give me a receipt and told me they would call me first thing the next morning to confirm I would be getting my full refund but could not tell me when I would get my overcharged stay back. They never called and when I called them the staff were extremely rude and told me in they already explained the day prior I would get my money back and I would just have to wait. I ended up having to contact my bank and report this for fraud considering it had been multiple days of the charge pending on my account with the money gone. I would highly recommend anyone avoid this hotel, lest you want to get scammed and harassed by staff.
訪訪客My wife and I were spending the weekend in the area mainly to visit the zoo and other things. The room was fine except for the fact that the floor was sloped a bit by the dresser so the drawers wouldn’t close. The pool was fine not the best. Breakfast was good with sausage and eggs. Staff were friendly plus the hotel was being renovated so I give them a break. The trains nearby can be heard though we both slept good.
