Great hotel in the heart of Downtown Charlotte. Diamond was my receptionist and her hospitality and professionalism was A1. Highly recommend this hotel.

The room was not ready at 3:00 p.m. like it was suppose to be. A staff member said they would call when the room was ready. They never called and I waited until 6:15 p.m. this is the most disappointing experience I ever had at a high quality hotel. I don’t think I will be coming back.

Beautiful hotel with terrific staff, but party and road racing noises until 2-3 AM make it very challenging to sleep. We changed rooms from the park side one evening to the other side for our second evening, but it didn’t make a difference.

Beds were extremely uncomfortable, we did not get any sleep. Please do not eat at the restaurant on sight, the food is awful and way too overpriced.

Check in was absolutely terrible. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I will never go back.

They charge you $30 to park in their parking lot

The hotel was amazing. The entire staff were amazing (valet, front desk, cleaning, restaurant staff, etc.). I loved the security measures the hotel had in place. The decor throughout the hotel is absolutely stunning. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel with great hospitality and amenities, the location was perfect for dining options and sightseeing. We definitely will be coming back!

The stay at the Tryon Kimpton was almost perfect. Check in and check out was seamless with Angelica. She let us know about all the other complimentary services they offer for their guest including a happy hour for refreshments such as wine and juice with some lunch snack. We also went to Angelines and Merchant and Trade in the hotel which were both great. There were so many great snacks and drinks in the room as well of course for a price but quality stuff. The room was spacious enough for two and very clean with a generous bathroom. Now for the cons. When we checked in we were informed there would be a $100 deposit hold for each night you are there. If you are staying more than 4 or 5 nights that could be taxing. The good thing is you can do room charges on that hold while enjoying the resturant and bar, but be mindful. The other hiccup is that when we got to our room there was no tv remote. My fiance retrieved one after calling the front desk, however, then to only find out the chromecast to connect to the streaming services wasnt updated to connect with the hotel wifi. We called the front desk and the tech help desk but got no real response or resolution other than they are working on it, also no one called us back. Throughout the 5 days we were there it was never resolved and when in the room we were stuck with very limited cable tv maybe 30-50 channels. Aside from those hiccups, we had a phenomenal experience. Quite modern; enjoyed the ambience and the 5:PM cocktail hour! ❤️ Did not like the fact that the front desk indicated that a coffee service would be delivered to the room and no one ever came!!! 😡

Everything was great. It’s in a beautiful building in a desirable part of the city I would definitely stay again however, I actually wouldn’t. The bed was so incredibly uncomfortable. I wanted to die but besides that restaurant rooftop bar, everything else is awesome.

Kimpton was everything! The ladies at the front desk were beautiful and had an attitude to match. Reginald was was on point and very helpful throughout our stay. All of the staff from the valet to the Rooftop lounge were Excellent. Clean, comfortable and pleasant. Awesome location for dining and shopping. Loved it!
