My wife and I enjoyed a very relaxing stay at Rushop. The proprietors are a very friendly, helpful and accomodating pair. The room was clean, airy and spacious. The bed was comfy, and there's a communal lounge, which we didn't use but looks nice. Really tasty breakfast served very efficiently. To be honest the only minor grumble in an otherwise excellant hotel experience was that the water pressure in the shower was a bit lame. I would definately recommend this beautiful place.

Bed wasn't very comfortable. Room was cold on arrival. Had to ask for heating to be turned on. Quite dated room. Nice location though. Breakfast was nice. OK for 1 night.

We stayed in the Shepard's Hut for 2 nights in February and was very happy. This is a lovely place with such nice owners who were very helpful and welcoming. Such a peaceful setting and the breakfast was delicious. Very clean and well kept areas.

A beautiful building in a stunning location. Our hosts couldn't be more friendly and welcoming. Neil provided us with fresh milk upon our arrival, and immediately after we got back from a long windy hike and definitely needed a cuppa to warm us up! Jan made an absolutely delicious breakfast with some of the best poached eggs I've had. All in all a great weekend and we'll be recommending it to our friends.

Lovely room, dark and quiet for a great nights sleep, excellent breakfast and great hosts. Great location just a few miles from Buxton and Edale areas.
