I loved the fact it was family owned. It was cozy and it was alright location

Hotel staff friendly

The room is in need of a serious update. Bring your own pillows. And be sure not to lose the key on a stick they give you to access your room.

I canceled by stay back in March of 2022 for my stay July 30th to August 1st only to be told that they have charged my credit card in full and due to it being a very busy time would not refund my money. $358/night I cannot believe that they can get away this!!! So if it's such a busy time WHY did I not get a refund. Highway robbery

After paying we walked up to our room, opened the door and were appalled at the smell and cleanliness of the room was afraid to lay down on the bed which was very uncomfortable and afraid to lift the mattress in fear of finding bed bugs. We took the key right back and were not offered any kind of return but drove ho.e anyway. No way this is a 4star i might give it a 2 if i was generous

Just a heads up for light sleepers, the property is on the highway, you can hear the vehicles on road. The bathroom kit was missing.

No dining

The Lake Country Inn was exactly where we needed it to be. The only issue we experience while staying was a lingering smell of smoke in the room we occupied.

It was a great little place. Bed was comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay again.
