索菲亞飯店(Hotel Sofia)

Great location but the hotel had cracks on the wall and the shower wasn’t the best

Ich habe nicht dort gewohnt trotzdem haben die Geld abgebucht. Ohne Konfirmation habe ich irgendwo anders Hotel gebucht und gewohnt. Zwischen Zeit haben die Geld abgebucht und wartet auf unsere Ankunft. Ich weiß es nicht was ich machen muss

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti in questo "Hotel" che poi Hotel non è. E' una "specie" di B&B. Infatti in quella che chiamano "Hall" in realtà un corridoio con delle poltrone, non c'è neanche un bagno esterno, infatti all'arrivo, mentre aspettavo che mi pulissero la stanza, sono dovuto scendere al bar sottostante per poter fare pipì. La stanza 208 che ci è stata assegnata è stata un vero incubo: la puzza di muffa e di acqua stagna che proviene dal bagno senza finestre è nauseabonda, talmente forte come odore che invade tutta la stanza. All'interno del bagno nessun bicchiere ne di plastica nè di carta per poggiare gli spazzolini. Come shampoo e bagnoschiuma delle bustine in plastica che solitamente si usano come campioni gratuiti dei prodotti. La stanza poi era molto impolverata, il piumone del letto (che per fortuna non abbiamo usato) era imbarazzante. La tv piccola e posta lontanissima dal letto che per guardarla c'è bisogno di un binocolo in dotazione. L'armadio era dondolante e avevamo timore di poggiarci dentro i vestiti per paura che ci cadesse addosso, infatti li abbiamo lasciati in valigia. Insomma l'Overlook del film Shining è Disneyland a confronto.

Unica cosa positiva posizione strategica per visitare Catania Centro Assenza di parcheggio obbligati ad usare strisce blu scomode e care.......posizionato in piena Ztl senza neanche poter scaricare i bagagli. Camere grandi ma poco curate con finestre che affacciano su cortili sporchi ecc.

The hotel is very well located, the cleaning is good but it has a huge problem that ruins everything: it is very noisy. The hotel is located in a building with other 2 establishments that I think are own and run by the same owners. The building has huge pluming problems that generate enormous noise from the bathroom that makes sleeping impossible. I was in room 205 and the noise was so loud that I did no sleep anything on the first night , I was then moved to a new room ( actually the workers private room) on the same floor in the Costanza hotel were the problem also existed existed. The issue in known the the staff. When I complained about the room 205 I was told by the front desk staff that no problem was found , yet when I was given the tour of the room at Costanza hotel, as soon as we walked in the bathroom the noise started in the pipes and the front desk worker nervously made a dash to the sink faucet and open it at which point the noice stopped! The only thing that made this bearable was that this room was bigger and the door was better at insulating the noise ( room 205 had a sliding door) so the noise sounded as if someone was sleeping in the next room and was snoring heavily.

Dopo una giornata in tour per Catania arriviamo al B&B.. ingresso curato e accoglienza gentile.. appena consegnate le chiavi e arrivati in stanza da subito abbiamo capito cosi ci aspettava.. stanza sporca, bagno sporco, televisione con telecomando non funzionante, sposto la tv per cambiare canale manualmente e vengo invaso da granelli di polvere.. accendo il condizionatore e iniziano a cadere sporcizie varie,, se questo è modo di fare turismo.. consiglierei di cambiare mestiere!!

Lo único bueno es la ubicación, en pleno centro de Catania. Cuando llegamos, no había llaves donde nos habían dicho. Llamamos varias veces por teléfono y mandamos varios WhatsApp y no nos contestaba nadie. Finalmente bajó la recepcionista cuando ya se marchaba a su casa y nos dio las llaves. Si hubiese decidido bajar una hora después, hubiésemos esperado una hora más. El baño está sucio. La mampara de la ducha está sucia. El WC tiene una especie de caja o cubículo séptico donde va a parar el agua sucia y que cada poco hace ruido. No se puede tirar ni papel higiénico dentro. Los apliques del baño estaban rotos o les faltaban piezas. La cisterna no tenía pulsador. Nos alojaron frente a la recepción y se oye todo, es imposible dormir a partir de las 8:00 horas. Al estar en pleno centro (via Etnea), hay mucho ruido y se escucha todo durante toda la noche, las ventanas no insonorizan absolutamente nada y no se puede dormir. El edificio es muy viejo, las escaleras poco iluminadas y llenas de trastos. Aunque lo llamen así, la palabra hotel le viene muy grande. No volveremos.

The hotel room (Hotel Costanza) seemed to be newly renovated, very clean and it was very spacious. Very close to the centre and just in the middle of the shopping area of Catania on Via Etnea. For us it was very convenient.

Ho soggiornato nella Suite, camera molto grande. Pulizia livello discreto ma non ottimale. Reception non all'altezza, ho dovuto spiegare come si faceva una fattura. Mai visto un hotel che fa pagare all'arrivo
