金塔蒙特維多旅館(Quinta do Monteverde)

Un magnifique séjour en couple à la Quinta do Monteverde ! L’impression d’être des châtelains l’espace de quelques jours, une belle parenthèse hors du temps. Une suite standard vue sur le jardin et la piscine, superbe. Un souci d’eau chaude a impliqué notre changement de chambre vers une chambre deluxe avec vue sur la mer, une vrai merveille ! Le domaine est grand, meublé et décoré d’origine dirait-on avec un très bon goût. Le confort d’installations modernes, un accès au très grand bar, salon TV et billard. Un superbe déjeuner servi dans une des nombreuses magnifiques pièces du domaine. L’accueil très chaleureux et serviable de Vanessa, qui nous a aussi donné de très bons conseils en matière de restaurants aux alentours. Nous recommandons vivement ce magnifique endroit.

Personal y propietaria del aljamiento ha sido muy amable y atenta con nosotros. El sitio es un lugar idílico en el que estamos seguros que repetiremos en un futuro próximo.

Perfeito para uma escapadinha, muito sossegado, pequeno almoço maravilhoso. Piscina excelente óptimo para relaxar.

15 de Agosto, 2021 A casa solarenga do século XVI mantém a tradição aliada ao conforto que se “exige” nos dias de hoje. Assim a tradição, conforto e bom gosto convivem nesta quinta minhota. Manutenção irrepreensível igualmente do espaço exterior. Recepção e atendimento eficiente e muito familiar. Recomendo vivamente para um fim-de-semana de descanso e visita pelo Minho litoral.

Felt like Ojai when we came through the grand doors , quaint cottage feel, perfect pool Day..the bar area is lovely, AC worked great in our room, we could wash a few things and lay them to dry.. it was a bit of hike off and then back to the Camino..but sooo worth it ! Would’ve loved to have just stayed forever. Thank you Vanessa for your hospitality .. love to return here..it’s a special place tucked away ..absolutely gorgeous .

The grounds are beautiful! It is quite a ways off the Camino, in case you are walking it. Entering the facilities is awkward because of the gate and waiting to be let in or out of the grounds. Our room was very hot and the air conditioner was incredibly noisy and not effective. My husband ended up sleeping on a mattress in the other room to avoid the noise! But he was still too hot. We tried to pay for the "honor" bar beer at the time we had it but were told to pay in the morning, which ended up in a delay in starting our day. Their tip for eating at the Brazilian restaurant nearby was a good one! Breakfast was good, just a little too quiet and overly formal compared to other nice hotels on the Camino. Everything was more formal and less organized than we would have liked. Probably wouldn't stay here again. Such a shame since this was the one hotel (of 13!) I was most looking forward to!

We stayed here while walking the Coastal Camino and it was the best lodging and breakfast we experienced in those 20 days. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were great and soaking our sore feet in the pool while enjoying a cold drink made our day. Our breakfast the next morning was the best! One of our group fell ill and the staff helped her seek medical assistance and a taxi to our next hotel. Do not miss this place!

Wonderful stay with fantastic owner and staff. The rooms were so comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Six of us were hiking the Camino when one of us became ill. Fatima, the owner, and Vanessa could not do enough to help us find excellent health care. They worked with Portugal Greenwalks, our trip planner and recommended we go to a private hospital in Viana do Castelo since we only spoke English. Vanessa arranged for a taxi to take us there where excellent treatment was provided. We highly recommend this hotel!

This was our family’s 2nd stay at this wonderful quinta, located in the lovely Castelo do Nieva with its excellent restaurants and gorgeous beach. The staff at the quinta are friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in the main house on this occasion, and the rooms were spacious and spotless. We were fortunate to have a private lounge area between our rooms which gave us space to come together and play card games etc. The gardens at the Quinta are beautifully kept and there are ample places to sit and relax outside. The games room is fantastic if the weather is inclement. The breakfast has a vast selection of fruits, breads, cheeses and meats as well as hot offerings. It is quite the feast and served in the grandest dining room. We are already planning our next stay at Quinta do Monteverde.
