The Ibis hotel brand is pretty standard worldwide, providing a rather spartan environment that is typically clean, functional and perfect for a short stay. The Cascavel branch is typical, though it is almost more sterile than spartan: apart from the built-in cupboards the rooms contain no furniture other than a bed and a red plastic chair. The bathrooms are similarly spare – not even a plastic cup for a toothbrush. The rooms also lack a safe for valuables. However, the check in agent was very sweet and helpful, and basically advised me not to bother with the hotel ‘restaurant’, as all the meals just came frozen. A genuinely warm welcome like this is worth a lot in a chain hotel! The breakfast was standard for Brazil and I don’t quite follow why other guests found it unsatisfactory. There was an ample choice of fruits, cheeses, breads and hot dishes, even for me as a vegetarian. Everything was fresh and wholesome. Much nicer fare than Ibis in the London airports! Overall, I think the recently built Ibis Cascavel is decent value for money.

Funcionários muito educados e prestativos, comodidade excelente!!! O quarto era muito aconchegante, tudo perfeito. A única coisa que deixou um pouco a desejar foi o café da manhã, achei que tinha pouca variedade e faltou mais sabor.

Very good experience .. attentive and outgoing staff me and my wife had a great time. We spent o e night during a long drive across the state place is brand new and beds are confortable , food at the restaurant is also great .
