Our only 'dislike' if you can call it that is we would like to pool to be heated. We were looking for a pre-cruise hotel for when the grandkids come in December and the pool will be way too cold for them then. Kids love pools! Otherwise, we will absolutely be staying at this hotel again when it's just us traveling. The room was fantastic, free breakfast was delicious, staff was super friendly.

Beautiful Hotel that Needs a Little TLC The hotel itself was fine, but not spectacular. A few things we noted: (1) water pressure was absolutely abysmal both in the evening and in the morning. The shower is huge, but you have to stand only in the front 25% in order to wash. (2) We wanted to watch a hockey play-off game on abc - as in regular live TV. We couldn't get it on the TV. It was mostly frozen on the screen all night as it tried to get enough bandwidth to stream. We ended up connecting an iPad to the wifi and watching it on our home TV provider. Finally (3) as I was walking in the transition area between carpet and tile (near the kitchen), I stepped on what felt like carpet nails sticking through. I immediately pulled my foot back, told my husband not to step there, and avoided the spot all night. (4) They now have a little card that invites you to tip their cleaning staff via your phone. Unfortunately when I tried to do this, my actual room cleaning lady wasn't listed as an option, so ??? I didn't want to tip housekeeping in general, I wanted to tip my cleaning lady. The room itself was clean. Check-in was a breeze. The breakfast area was great albeit very busy before cruises (best to go not at 9:30am if you can help it). We enjoyed our stay, but were disappointed in the points made above.

Homewood suites continue to be my favorite hotel because it is clean, safe and quiet (something I do value in hotels) as well as easy parking. Breakfast is always a perk that I enjoy!

The hotel was nice but I have stayed at others in Port Canaveral that I consider better. The room was dated and in need of updating in my opinion. The Tiki bar was great but the room left room for improvement. That is why I rate it three stars.

We liked the fact that we could park our car in the lot and didn't have to worry about it while we were on our cruise. You might get a better set up for transportation to and from the cruise docks. we waited over an hour to get a ride back to the Hotel.

We stayed there overnight before a cruise. The hotel was clean, big enough for our family of 5 and convenient to the cruise terminal.
