We got stuck at an airpot in Charlotte after 16 hours of delays and multiple missed connections, called ahead to let them know we weren’t going to make it into town to be able to stay. Even though it was a non refundable rate, it is complete ******** when it is completely out of our control. Between Trip.com and this hotel they completely stuck us for $200+ and probably rented the room anyway since they knew we wouldn’t be there. Sad, because we wanted to stay at this resort. Now we never will. The worst? They told us all we had to do was have trip.com call and they would refund it, then trip.com let us know that they declined…so either trip lord or they did. Either way, both lost customers today!
