卡拉博納飯店(Hotel Cala Bona)

Just returned from a week at this hotel and can honestly say we could not fault a single thing. Firstly and a total credit to them is the wonderful friendly and attentive staff, nothing was a problem. My mother in law in gluten intolerant and the staff went above in the dining room, there was a seperate area with cereals, breads, cakes, biscuits etc there own toaster etc, the staff showed a menu every morning and asked if there was something she would like made freshly. The food is probably the best we have had anywhere, the choices and quality far exceeded what we expected. The entertainment was great although a bit of a squeeze for seats with people keeping seets for others. The bar and waiting staff were a joy. From the welcome on arrival to the ladies on the housekeeping team everyone was joyful and helpful and it seemed genuine niceness, there is a real old fashioned sense of customer service. We could not fault a thing, yes the views from some rooms may not be the best but does not take away from how gorgeous it is. The pool is superb and every area of this complex is nipping clean. A lovely thought as we checked out the staff had a birthday card and chocoltes for my husbands birthday, lovely touch

A last minute deal to our favourite hotel. Met by the lovely Elaine on reception. The staff really are so lovely and helpful throughout the whole hotel. It has had a lovely upgrade since we last visited in September. It was lovely to be there for the opening of the new spa. Food was excellent as usual. Juan the lifeguard was his very helpful self once more. Unfortunately our side room in the Pergola block wasn't the best with a very dodgy shower but it was a cheap deal so can't really complain and unfortunately we had very noisy neighbours using bad language out on the balcony etc. but can't blame the hotel for that and previous rooms we have had have been really quiet with no problems. Won't stop us returning in June and September.

Just returned from our 5th stay here, so some way to go to compete with other returners who have 30 years under their belts. We asked by email for the same room in Reception block as previously and our request was met. The hotel has had a bit of a makeover since last year with white marble stairs, floors and glass panelling. The old sunbed by the dining room has gone which is a shame. We thought it was a bit stark and needed some softening and colour. The dining room also has been changed. Chefs all on show now cooking most of the food there and bar waiters also working in there, meeting and greeting. We have had excellent food in the past, and enjoyed most of it this time, especially the fish. Some things like turkey skewers were awful, as was lamb shoulder, and roast beef. Why did they not taste like turkey, lamb and beef? The breakfasts were excellent. Bacon now cooked by chef and well done, not just on the ends in a tray! Plenty of choice of fruit, cereals and pastries. We ate far more than was good for us! The meal times have been extended with breakfast served until 10.30, dinner from 6.45 - 9.15 pm. The entertainment at night was good, some much better than others. The Motown group were outstanding, the opera- singing comedian was entertaining and certainly worked hard for 2 hours. Others not so good. We wish HCB would do something about guests from other hotels being allowed in to the entertainment before us residents have finished dinner. It makes it difficult if not impossible to get a seat, and we saw residents having to go elsewhere. If anyone is wondering about the new apartment block overlooking the pool area, this is still unfinished and is now at 4th floor level. I wouldn't think it would be occupied this season. It doesn't affect sunbathing as it is on the east side so the sun is moving round to the west. We didn't try the new spa and indoor which is below the pool bar. Last year I gave my review 5 stars as I couldn't fault HCB. This year I think the points mentioned warrant 4 stars. Even so we love Cala Bona and would return there and to HCB in a heartbeat.

What a fantastic hotel. We had 2 rooms overlooking the pool and they were as good as any TUI Blue I have stayed in. We didn't use the pool but it look lovely and the sun loungers were very comfortable. A great bonus was the opening of the new Spa. Very luxurious and the fluffiest towels I have used. Sauna, steam room, pool and gym. Entertainment was very good and a good mix. Staff are the nicest I have ever come across. Isabel on reception really went out of her way for us. The lady at the pool bar was so freindly. It felt like a happy hotel as the staff were so nice. Food was really good, plenty of choice and a microwave if you like food really hot. Great location as well. Thank you to all the staff at Cala Bona Hotel.

Be warned, there are professional thieves operating in the reception of the hotel. My wife had 70 euros taken from her person yesterday 22nd April .although no fault of the hotel or staff. So be aware of people around you in this area . If someone asks you for change. Ignore them and walk away. According to reception staff, my wife was not the first.

Arrived home yesterday after a weeks holiday at this hotel, wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is located by the harbour. We were on a half board basis so we were able to sample the local cafes and restaurants at lunchtime. The food at the hotel is very good, plenty of choice so no need to go hungry here….The nearest beach is a few minutes walk from the hotel but we didn’t go there as there is a much bigger and better beach at Cala Millor, about 20 minutes further on. The hotel pool is fantastic, plenty of sunbeds available every day, but obviously it’s still early in the season. The lifeguard is very helpful and friendly, very popular with a lot of the regulars. We were in a superior room with balcony, overlooking the hotel entrance. The room was spacious with a fridge and kettle supplied. The bathroom was awesome, had a lovely walk in shower and a hairdryer was also supplied so no extra charges there. We were only charged for the use of the safe and the Tourist tax which all the hotels have to charge. I mustn’t forget to mention that the staff here are amazing, so friendly and welcoming and we hope to return here again in the future, Thank you Hotel Cala Bona for your hospitality.

First time visiting this hotel. When the bus drops you off you think what is this place as you walk down the street but then get to the hotel it is beautiful. The hotel is set in 5 blocks and we were in block 3 with a sea view balcony. Arrived before lunch and we were checked straight in. This is a half board hotel so we had breakfast and main meal. No complaints about the food or the drinks. They even cater for gluten free and have plenty of choice and separate areas for GF food. The pool area is roomy and spotless and Claire who works on the pool bar cannot help you enough. Plenty of sunbeds to choose from also. There was some building work next door on a hotel but it didn't bother anybody. There is also a lifeguard round the pool all day and he is friendly and helpful and does aqua classes in the morning. The evening entertainment was great and plenty of variety. The town around is very quiet but if you want a peaceful relaxing holiday this is the place to go. Great to go and sit in the harbour and watch the world go by. Cant wait to go again

Cala Bona Hotel is a fantastic location with the harbour in front of the hotel. Rooms are very clean. And cleaned every day if you wish. We stayed in a superior room. Nice balcony. We stayed half board the food and selection was great freshly cooked. The staff are very friendly helpful work hard to please everyone. In the evenings there is live entertainment which is good.

Excellent barista style coffee , best we had on our trip , great location to watch the world go by , good prices too . Right in the harbour. Service was quick considering how busy it was . I would return and consider the hotel in the future. 5 stars
