斯瑪格樂斯豪特旅館(Smugglers Haunt Guest House)

Very Good basic hotel and great location. Situated right by the harbour so excellent location. The hotel is basic but nice and clean. The rooms had tea and coffee making, clean towels, a fridge, tv , shower gell and soap. The room was clean and perfectly fine. The breakfast was very good. With good choice of cooked, eggs benedict, toast, cereals, yogurts, juices, tea and coffee. The owner is friendly. The only minus no onsite parking. There is a short stay carpark near and a long stay further away. I enjoyed my stay here.

Plus points: very clean Minus - window needs blackout blinds or curtains as light on landing on all night for safety I imagine. - if you want to watch TV you have to sit on a stool and tv signal very patchy. - the worst thing was the noise from above my room probably owners quarters every night for 1.5 hours sounded like moving furniture very noisy. Possibly no carpets. The worst night Friday my last night noise stopped around 1030 got off to sleep woken half an hour later noise back stomping across floor and moving again but mixed with very loud voices this went on till 1.15am then it went quiet finally I was so stressed didn't get to sleep till after 4 woken up again at 7! Found out the business is up for sale which speaks volumes. I only saw male owner and didn't find him particularly friendly.

Never again, worst weeks holiday ever. Total waste of money, should of gone to some of my normal holiday accommodations, you say you learn by your mistakes well this is one mistake that will never be repeated

We stayed here last night. The owner was very nice. He had our bags in the room before we arrived. Rooms are located near town. Clean although not new. Comfortable! Good breakfast! Narrow stairs to our room. There wasn’t any street noise which was nice!

Right in the centre this hotel is a nice place to stay very clean nice breakfast and handy for walking around harbour area close to shops an restaurants only draw back is like all small towns is parking would recommend though.made to feel welcome

Stayed here for long weekend with adult family. Were made feel very welcome right from the start. Lovely quirky hotel and the best breakfast we have ever had. Spotlessly clean and right in the centre. Highly recommend 5*

A basic, but very clean and comfortable hotel, the breakfast is fantastic and the little fridge in the room was a welcome addition over what was a hot Bank Holiday weekend. Ideally situated, a short walk in to the harbour area and picking up the south west coastal path. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, near harbour, bus station also ferry to Torquay. Hotel excellent, tea making facilities, plenty of towels, large rooms, double bed, sofa, small fridge, wardrobe, TV and toilet/shower. Breakfast excellent and a choice of cooked, cereal toast. Staff/owners great. Definitely returning.

Smuggler's Haunt a lovely and unusual hotel just minutes from the harbour. Good reception, cosy clean room, fabulous breakfast. Parking is an issue but that is the same with a lot of the hotels in Brixham given the nature of the town. Would definitely stay here again.
