Like many hotels in Vanuatu, this hotel could use an upgrade. Also there is no disability access and no lift. The rooms are very clean and nice. Unfortunately I was asked to move rooms, and told to wait 4 hours by the pool, and I had a migraine. I ended up leaving and finding another hotel. It would be great if there were lounge chairs by the pool and not just chairs. Book online, otherwise they add a considerable more to the room rate. Everything has become very expensive in Vanuatu, but nothing has been upgraded. Sunday night buffet is well worth it, delicious!!!
I had a great time here. It is beautifully situated on a stunning and expansive beach. The food is excellent, we had their shakshuka for breakfast every day and couldn't get enough of it. And the dinner and lunches were equally healthy and delicious. Its worth paying more for a nice cottage, we love our sea shell home and falling asleep to the sound of waves. And the management was so great and helpful and make everything work. Its remoteness is a big part of its charm. You feel like you're at the end of the world. But because of this remoteness, the hotel would benefit from a few more things to do. Like a communal sitting room to read / have drinks in. Because there is just the dining room and your bedroom. Or make the pool area more of a focal point. Or more activities (the fire dance is INCREDIBLE). We stayed for a week and adored it. And think its the best spot in Vanuatu.
