In cooler weather, the gas fireplace provides a cozy backdrop to your stay. The home is single-level living, with the exception of the laundry set and storage which are in the basement. You'll enter the front door into the living room with Roku TV for streaming your favorite shows-- we've pre-loaded a ton of apps for your use. And don't worry about logging out before checkout--Guest Mode on the TV ensures that your login info is removed as long as you enter your checkout date on the initial screen. Past the living room, dining room and office desk, you'll discover a comfy loft bed with high ceilings, sofa bed for lounging and another individual TV. There's a closet with dresser here for your belongings to stow away comfortably. Just a little ways down the hall are the bathroom with original enclosed clawfoot tub and shower, travel toothbrushes and toothpaste provided (in case you forget), some epsom salt for winding down, and shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided. Past the bathroom is the queen bedroom. This bedroom also has a closet with hangers for your clothing storage. We do not have central ac, but overall the home stays pretty cool throughout warm seasons in Spokane. The fully-stocked kitchen features a Ninja blender, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator, stove, and toaster. We’re proud to provide locally- and women-owned Roast House coffee beans, along with manual and electric grinders, for French press, drip & Keurig coffeemaking. Enjoy breakfast at the built-in bar or overlooking the backyard, with views of Mount Spokane. For outdoors entertainment, take advantage of the fire pit (available when the county does not implement burn bans), patio set, private 6’ cedar and Arbor vitae fencing, and spacious, covered front and side porches. We have a de-humidifier in the basement next to the laundry set, and it's super important that guests leave this alone. We do provide laundry detergent for your use. We do provide window AC to help cool the home. AC is a seasonal amenity. If booking between the months of October and May, please inquire if AC is a required amenity for your stay. We do have recording devices on the outside of the home, front and back, for safety and security. These cameras do record video and sound, but we respect guest privacy so we only look at the cameras if an issue arises during or after your stay. The front camera is a Ring door bell at the front door and faces away from the home. The back camera is on the house facing the alley. No cameras are mounted in, nor do they face/record any private, guest-only areas. We do require guests to e-sign a vacation rental agreement for stays of any length prior to check in. We request guests fill out a check-in form so that we can best prepare for your stay. Complete terms regarding the guest screening can be provided by the property manager. You will receive an email to complete your screening. Please check your spam inbox for this email and contact the property manager if you have any questions. This is an incredible, older home with quirks about which prospective guests should be aware. With the exception of the bathroom, it features all-original wooden windows. One window in the primary bedroom is currently painted shut. All other non-picture windows do open, providing lots of opportunity for fresh air, but should not be forced open/shut if they stick. If you encounter problems, please let us know. Another attribute of this home is its stone foundation. A de-humidifier is connected to run full-time and ensure this is a pleasant space to work out in or to do laundry. We do provide laundry detergent for your use. Neighbors on both sides have pets and, therefore, the animals may cause some noise now and then. Please be aware of barking. This is a hugely pet-friendly neighborhood. Neighbors on both sides have dogs and the potential for barking exists. It is also a wildlife corridor—you may see deer, turkeys, or other creatures during your stay! We charge $20 per night for the first pet, and $15 per night for additional pets Pet fees are nonrefundable and will be requested through the resolution center after the reservation is confirmed and prior to your stay. Pet fees must be paid prior to check in or your door code will not function at the time of check in. The backyard is large and private, with plenty of room for play, hanging out, and relaxing. There are also two twin rollaway beds available and the couch in the living room folds into a double sofa bed that sleeps two. The Craftsman on Grand is perfect for families or groups of friends. Nestled on a quiet ridge on the South Hill in Spokane, our home boasts stunning panoramic views of Downtown and Spokane Valley, and is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Downtown. Our home is themed around much-loved board games, with lots of fun decor, games included! It is excellent for larger groups of up to 9 adults, with a modern kitchen, multiple living areas, and game and theater room. Enjoy a fully enclosed and private back yard, and sunsets off the back deck!THE LAYOUT:- See the full floor plan in the pictures!- There are 4 total bedrooms: 3 upstairs, including 1 California King, 1 Queen, and 1 with 2 XL twin beds, and 1 Queen bedroom downstairs. Plus each room is themed to a different popular board game with fun styling, art, and games! With bedrooms enough for 8 adults, we also have potential for more sleeping options including a couch with mattress topper or air mattress, just send us a message if you’re interested in additional options.- There are 2 full bathrooms upstairs, 1 off the primary bedroom and 1 off the hall, each with a gorgeous tile shower and all of the essential amenities. There is also a half bath downstairs with laundry washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board, and detergent for your stay.- The upstairs main living space includes a large couch with a 58" Smart Roku TV, a dining table that can seat 6-7 with an additional 3 bar stools at the kitchen island, and a fully equipped kitchen with all of the essentials. There is a wonderfully cozy sitting area off the dining room that is perfect for morning coffee or sunset viewing in the evening, and a semi-private, Clue-themed office tucked back behind the sitting room. Solve a mystery, get some work done, use the space for stretching, or set up a children’s play space! - Off the sitting area is a back deck with more seating, lower deck, and a large, fully enclosed yard that was reseeded in early May 2025, and is in the process of growing in. We ask that guests temporarily stay off the young shoots as they establish, thank you!- Downstairs features a second living room with an even larger 82" Smart Roku TV perfect for movies or streaming games, with room-darkening blinds so you can watch any time of day. There's also a 6-person Game/Poker table with a stocked selection of both adult, child-friendly, and even life size games for some exciting evenings with friends and family. This is the one. That “heck yeah” house with the hot tub, theater room, fire pit, and serious vibe. Perfect for a couple’s escape, squad trip, or a weekend that hits different. Two living areas, wide-open layout, and cozy touches make it easy to relax, connect, and recharge. Sip cocktails, stream your favorites, or unwind under the stars. Book it before someone else does—seriously. There are about 7 stairs leading to the front of the house, 3 of which are at the sidewalk by the street and 4 more at the front door. You'll enter the front door of the home to the living room, which is seamless to the dining room and kitchen. The two bedrooms and bathroom are just off the living room, with queen beds and extra pillows and blankets in each bedroom. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking spices, cookware, knives, silverware and dishes and cups for eating meals. Off the dining room, there is a staircase that leads downstairs. Once you get to the bottom of the stairs, you'll enter the expansive theater room. Here, you'll find a 75-inch HDTV and surround sound with streaming apps downloaded so you can watch your favorite shows. (We do not provide DVD's or cable at this time.) By the staircase, you'll find the bathroom and utility room. Past the sectional, you'll find the third bedroom with queen bed, more fluffy pillows and throw blankets and a walk-in closet. Back upstairs to the kitchen, you'll exit via the sliding door to a generously-sized covered porch leading to the hot tub. Please make sure all of your guests know the hot tub rules. Don't worry about putting pool chemicals into the pool. We have a service that takes care of that for us. Pets are allowed but are not allowed on any furniture. We do charge a $20 non-refundable pet fee per night for first pet. Additional pets are $15 per night.
