We booked two nights, from 17 to 19 of June, in Bordeaux and when we arrived there was no one at the front desk to check us in. We had to wait for while, we also had to work, so it was a big issue for us to have to wait that long. Finally, after we checked in, we found out the air conditioner was broken for the entire building, except for the reception for some reason. When we went down to inquire, the receptionist said it was going to be fixed but that she couldn't make any promises - it's literally 40 degrees Celsius in Bordeaux. So we can't work and cant sleep in this conditions, and had to find another place last minute, which cost us a lot more than what he had planned for our stay. When we came back to talk to the manager next Monday (when he supposed to be working), he wasn't there. And we found out that our reservation was not cancelled. And employee told us that this is very strange and if the other person would cancel it we would get our money back. And we were advised to send email, which we did, numerous times, we called but it has been already almost 4 month and no one replied. Never seen such ridiculous service in my life, we still didn't get refund and still could not contact a manager. What kind of hotel it is that stuff blames everything on a manager that is never there?

À fuir, J'ai réservé 1 nuit dans une chambre considérée par l'accueil et le site internet comme surclassée dans un hôtel 3 étoiles. La salle de bain est entièrement équipée comme dans un Ehpad ou hôpital, ce qui n'est pas mentionné dans l'annonce, et peut provoquer à l'inverse de l'angoisse et de l'anxiété face à ce type d'équipement. Je souhaite changer de chambre mais l'hôtel est complet, et le remboursement impossible puisque pas fait avant 18h. L'hôtel ne me trouve aucune autre solution à me proposer, me laissant seule à 22h dans une zone industrielle. Je suis très étonnée de ce type de prestation venant d'un hôtel 3* d'autant plus que ceci était un voyage d'affaire pour lequel ma société avait réservée d'autres chambres pour d'autres salariés pour une quinzaine de nuits…

I had 2 extreme experiences...the first and of course first impressions are the most lasting... we arrived to check in and I had to look around for someone to talk to and a young man came out of a small office and looked at me like I had 2 heads and said nothing... I asked if we could check in ( this was 1:15 pm or so) and all he said was ”can't check in until 2 pm” and that was it never smiled,never ask any other questions... in other words probably the worst attitude of any hotel I have been in. The check out which of course was rather simple but there was a young women and young man with big smiles asking if they could help and check us out...complete opposite of the the check-in. thank you !

Did an overnight stop in Bordeaux enroute to Biarritz , booked a bunk room it was really good comfy bed in 6 bed female dorm . As ever room mates were cosmopolitan . lovely outside area with live music , food was fresh staff friendly good choice at breakfast included .
