The place was amazing, value for money. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a stay in Bloem💯💯

I wouldn’t come here for a holiday, but the joint is well placed to break up a longer trip as it is situated beside the N1 highway. This of course ensures you get plenty of Highway noise overnight. This was supplemented with the noises of late night parties on the night I stayed. The chalets are nice and comfy, with an excellent heating system, nice shower and DSTV. It’s not fancy but it’s cheap! Plus there are blesbok, springbok, wildebeest and alpacas in the game reserve.

The Place is very clean and neat .The staff is professional .i was allocated a cabin very good maintained. breakfast and supper was excellent The lunch packet needs more attention. Beds are very comfortable,Cabins need WIFI please

The place was wonderful, really enjoyed it also the animals and the staff was amazing. However, there were a few stains on the sheets and would appreciate it if there were any garages for the cars to sleep in.

Terrible experience. Arrived after dark, no lights to navigate the very uneven, wobbly and very dangerous stairs up to our cabin. This is a deathtrap waiting for an accident to happen. Once inside the cabin, the 'couch' was dirty, full of huge stains, too disgusting to sit on. The fabric was torn in places, with the stuffing coming out....The cabin has the bare minimum in it, no bedside lamps, pillows as hard as rocks. Tiny threadbare towels. The shower was so dirty, that we decided not to shower the next morning, rather just got in the car as we were and headed home. The whole place just looked dirty. At R820 a night (no breakfast), this is hugely overpriced. We had just returned from a trip to Port Alfred, where we stayed in a boutique hotel for just over R1,000/night, incl full cooked breakfast. Our room there was bigger than the entire cabin at Sangiro, squeaky clean, with every luxury one could want. There is just no comparison. I will never return, I feel their advertising does not show the reality of this terrible place. The reception staff were friendly - the only plus to this very disappointing experience. The whole place could do with major maintenance....

Great location and great breakfast apart from that the poor maintenance let this place down. Towels were not replaced and friends had to bring us clean towels. The person doing nights ignored our calls for help.

No specific complaints but the place is very 'tired'. Room clean enough, though usual flat batteries in remotes etc, and charming reception staff. Food seemed a little unorganised; dinner needs to be pre-booked, not ideal for an overnight stay. Security seems a bit doubtful, with no attendant on the gate, but perhaps there is a roving guard at night?

They really went the extra mile with our dinner. Our door knob broke called them and they fixed it immediately. Just shows if you have aproblem just call & it would be fixed. Really nice place loved it.

The Lodge is well situated, reception is professional, the rooms is neat and clean and fulfill the purpose. However one of the selling points is airconditioning in all rooms. Unfortunately this was not working and the mid summer heat during the day heated the room to the point of very uncomfortable. No resolve was available.
