海灣旅館(Bay Lodge)

In over 30 years of travelling on business, this is one of the best places I have stayed in.Although I did not meet the owners it was clear that the accommodation was well looked after and virtually everything had been thought of for the comfort of their guests. Virtually everything was absolutely spotlessly clean.The only small point I noticed was that there was dirt around the toilet seat hinge - a bit of a dirt trap and difficult to access(I'm sounding like a "Four in a Bed" contestant now!).However, I would not hesitate in recommending Bay Lodge to anyone. Excellent well-kept accommodation! Please stop here! Rooms are spacious and serviced each day! We even get daily chocolates and tasty biscuits! Easy parking and in close proximity to the beach! Plenty of nearby places to eat. Howlett’s zoo is only 30 minutes drive and Port Lympne 60 minutes.

Hotel overall was lovely, clean and easy access to rooms, as is self access, the only issue we had was with the shower it was very tempromental on setting the temperature and the flow was a rather slow.

We have just arrived home and thought we should write a review. The Guest House is lovely. We were in the Turner Room which had twin beds. They were extremely comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe space including lots of hangers which proved very useful for us. There was also lots of drawer space. The room was very well decorated as was the en-suite. The tea and coffee facilities were always topped up as we were there for three nights. In the fridge were some chocolates which we thought was a lovely touch. When we next visit Birchington we will definitely stay there again. Also walking distance to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Slight problem with internet which was quickly fixed. Lovely place to stay comfy bed will return.
