巴格托拉小屋-幹哈(Bagh Tola,Kanha)

I visited this property in early March with my extended family. We celebrated a very special birthday here of our 65 years old twins. And Bagh Tola Kanha is exactly what we needed! They offered us everything from great food to amazing hospitality. The staff is very well mannered. They even arranged a cake and a barbecue setup on special request. Hats-off to the hosts, Eric & Joy, for taking so very good care of all of us!

What a beautiful place and what wonderful hosts. Have never had such a wholesome experience! I cannot wait to go back here again. The food was amazing and the rooms were so comfortable and spacious. It's a prefect place for groups to socialise around the fireplace and experience nature.

Eric, Joy and their staff are absolutely amazing. They pay attention to every little detail. Joy makes the most delicious food. The experience is like a beautiful home away from home. Eric guided us through Kanha NP and gave us a real education about the forest and the way different animals behave. We saw some stunning tigers, leopard, vulture, scores of birds, deer, langurs among others. I highly recommend this place for anyone interested in wildlife.

Words fall short when I begin to pen down my experience and feelings about my stay at Bagh Tola Kanha . The reality strikes now and made me realise that we are leaving this place this place is not a resort,not a hotel,nothing like it .This place is a HOME. Beautifully created by the two most wonderful people Eric and Joy. These two people Eric and Joy will attach you with themselves as if you are their own family. Kanha is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and mystic jungle and there is no better person to see it than Eric. His 35+ years of experience clearly shows during the safari and conversations. The passion in him for the jungle is infectious. We had one of the BEST sighting that we have ever had in our safari experience. My overall experience was out of this world one of the best I have ever experienced. Amazing stay, Amazing food, Amazing hospitality, Impeccably clean rooms and property and the warmth of Eric and Joy make this property a must visit. And Joy you are the best Baker in this whole wide world. Love your cakes and we love it more because of the love you may bake it with and feed us. This staff is amazing and courteous. This property is a 11/10.

An awesome experience, amazing personalised sevice by Eric and Joy. The place is very tastefully done and is a home away from home. The rooms, the food, the staff all score a 10 on 10. Eric is passionate on the flora and fauna in the jungle and loves to share jungle stories with all.

Hi, so we three friends(ladies) one male friend stayed at this fabulous hotel, the staff was amazing, soft spoken n very helpful in every way. The couple running this hotel Eric n Joy were very friendly and so knowledgeable about the Kanha forest and their environment. The food n picnic baskets were like our home food too. Came back to Mumbai rejuvenated.. and oh yes the driver of our gypsy was the hotels driver Vikram.. do ask for his services as he has the best eyesight I think.. spotted Tigers fr us on all our three days there.

This property is nestled close to the Mukki gate - Kanha national park. It has a patch of the Sal forest and some beautiful bougainvilleas and bamboo trees. It truly felt like home away from home for us. The chef went out of his way and with Joy’s suggestions cooked us healthy but yummy meals made with local produce. We had jaggery based sweets severed and the cakes Joy baked and packed for our morning picnic breakfast was truly amazing. Eric has a vast knowledge of the forest and the history and its tigers. We had an amazing time interacting and learning more about the park. Our driver Vikram was very informed himself and we ended up with two sightings. One included two cubs as well. Recommend this place and we will be planning our return soon!

What a gorgeous trip this was ! The jungle is simply mesmerising. Every single day waking up before dawn didn't seem so hard when you were about to drive in the jungle for hours. I was never tired of it. Of Course I saw the tiger and cried a little. It does something to you, touches you deep inside. But it was more than seeing the tiger. Eric sir made the ride so much fun. He is a treasure himself. So many stories, so many encounters, absolutely nail biting. Not a minute has gone by feeling bored at BaghTola Kanha. Joylet is a wonderful lady, she looks after you. Both of them have made this place a little heaven, a little home for everyone. Every staff member looks after you. They know exactly what you want and will do their best to provide. and OMG the chef, I could not meet him before I left. I never thought I would say this, but the simple Poha is to die for. every meal was delicious. Thank you so much every one of you. Everyone , please go there.

Eric and Joy made us really welcome and made sure that we were very comfortable and sufficient for our needs including milk for our tea whenever we wanted. Eric as our guide and driver took us off on our morning and afternoon safaris. Lodge was well appointed with good aircon. Restaurant was anxious to make sure we had the type of food that we wanted. All the young men who worked there were very helpful. It was also wonderful that we managed to see three tigers thanks to the efforts of Eric and his driver who has some excellent eyesight!
