good connection to main station, reasonable restaurant, quiet

Das Hotel ist perfekt gelegen. Die Tram hält gleich um die Ecke, zu S- und U-Bahn ist es nur ein kurzer Fußweg. So kommt man überall schlecht hin. Die Zimmer sind groß und schön hell dank einer langen Fensterreihe. Auf Nachfrage habe ich auch einen Wasserkocher für mein Zimmer bekommen. Ich habe sehr gut geschlafen und gut gefrühstückt. Gut fand ich auch, dass das Hotel eine normale Heizung hat, die man selbst einstellen kann und dadurch nicht - wie in anderen Hotels - die ganze Nacht die Klimaanlage röhrt. Ich würde hier wieder herkommen!

Wunderschöne Zimmer, freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, herzliche Atmosphäre schon beim einchecken. Wir haben uns auf unserer Reise als Team mit 18 Personen sehr wohl gefühlt und werden unseren nächsten Besuch wieder hier planen.

We booked this hotel last minute we were stranded in Berlin after problems with the trains. The hotel is very basic & quite far from the main train station. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room & it resembled a hospital room, very bare. Positives were that it was a good sized room & had a good shower. We paid quite a lot of money for one night in this hotel but were disappointed.

The hotel is well located, just a 2 min. walk to the Wall Memorial and close to other landmarks. Our rooms were confortable and clean enough. Mattresses are firm. All in all, a good value for your money IF you're not dependable on Wifi, as we were. Wifi was non-existent during our 48 hr. stay, except at 3 AM. Their net has no password, so probably the whole neighbourhood uses it. It was impossible to connect when we most needed it! We complained, but to no avail. This is an unacceptable detail for the rate we paid.

A lovely oasis in the big city. I chose a room on the garden side and from the room I saw mostly trees and the garden. I heard very little traffic noise. The room was large enough and the bed comfortable. The decor was seafoam green, notably the linoleum floor. The staff were helpful and friendly. The garden is a delight, complete with ponds and little half-hidden places to sit. I would give this place six stars if I could, and I look forward to visiting again next time I need to be in the center of Berlin.

Nice size room in quiet park like area.

Hotel is within two minutes of the Berlin Wall, which was convenient. However, as seen by other reviews, the wi-fi did not work --- at least above the second floor. Reported it to the front desk twice and was told that they would "report it". Had to sit in the hotel lobby if we wanted wi-fi. Very disappointing and felt a refund of some type should have been issued.

The Staff was friendly we had 3 days without WI FI, Elevator did not function for 2 days.
