巴羅格高地飯店(Hotel Barog Heights)

We stayed here for 1 night. The hotel's location is good. The approach to the hotel is pretty steep and should be improved with respect to the road condition. The hotel is clean and comfortable to stay for 1 night as there is nothing much to do in Barog. The food is good. Breakfast spread is very very limited for the cost they are charging. The rooms are clean and tidy. Bathrooms are newly developed and clean. The open area on their terrace is the plus point of this hotel for which everyone stays here. It gives a full 360-degree view of the mountains and small towns around Barog. A major disappointment for me which made me regret my stay in this hotel was the nuisance that outsiders create who come with their own alcohol and play loud music as if the hotel is their property. The staff does not do anything. Even after complaining, the staff looked helpless and did nothing! Those people kept singing and playing loud songs and drinking alcohol freely and openly but the hotel didn't do anything. Scenarios like this make this hotel unprofessional and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. When the staff can't save their own property from people like these, they wouldn't bother about their guests who are paying to stay at their hotel. Better to try other options and skip this hotel.

- Its old and huge property and all rooms are valley facing . - Not the top of linen compare to other properties including toiletries but don't have complaints as I equally didn't expect . My two requirements where every I stay are clean bed and washroom and both are taken are of . Mineral water bottle provided and 24/7 hot water available . - I took balcony sit out room and can spend hours looking at valley and spiral roads . - Good food and amazing hospitality . Didn't face any problems in two days - Its challenging getting into hotel due to hairpin steep bend to reach hotel and some quick calculations by drivers require.

Hotel location is very good, on barog hill top, with very scenic view on all sides. The staff and service was good also. Mainly the open lawn in front provides good place to enjoy sunrise and sunset view. Only thing seems that building needs some renovation.

I stayed one night. The Hotel is located at a very good height from main highway therefore offers beautifull views. The terrace is very beautifull and gives unrestriced 270degree views. Food was okeyish. The rooms with balcony have very limited views while those without balconies have good views. Major Turn off point is that hygiene was very poor at the hotel, room glass panes were extremely dirty, room utensils were dirty. Had hygiene been better I would have rated it 4. This can be easily improved. Secondly, a minor point is that the hotel needs some major maintenance as the building, restaurant and room lobies were very old. although rooms were ok but due to poor hygiene and cleaning they appeared old.

This place is not value for money. They charged us too much for a room which doesn’t have proper facility. The room was so basic, old, not clean. The bed was so so old that my back start hurting. This can’t be a weekend gateway as this is situated at really away from the main road and there is not even a place to walks or do anything. Even the hotel within itself is so weird that at the time of my stay there were guests having a birthday party and they were burning crackers. Yes they polluted all the air playing so loud music and the hotel staff was really okay with that. People go to such place for peace and calm but this hotel people does not have any rules for it. They are just making money and they are not giving you any services Food was pathetic too, and quantity they give is not even enough for one person This hotel actually proved to be my worst choice. I am a traveller and most of my time i stay away from home but i would never recommend this place to anyone
