My husband and I stayed here just one night - a stopover on our way elsewhere. It's a very nice place and I would recommend it, with a caveat or two. The room was clean and quite spacious and included a mini fridge & coffee maker. The bed was really comfortable. The pool area is very nice. The waterfall in the pool is a nice touch. There's plenty of seating (with some options for shade), and lots of palm trees and other topical plants. There's also a poolside bar - if you can catch it open. Marshall at the front desk was really friendly and helpful, and Robin -our shuttle driver from the airport - was too. There's not much nearby, so if you dont have a car, you're pretty much staying at the hotel (or taking Uber). The only food right by the place is a Dennys and a McDonalds -and a REALLY popular coffee shop. Our only issue was that we found out upon checking in that the restaurant and bar were closed for the day (New Year's Day). We looked at tons of hotels near the airport for our stopover, wanting 2 key amenities: An airport shuttle and a bar & restaurant. We didn't want to have to go out for dinner (esp without having a car) - just wanted to relax at the hotel. We chose this one because it had both - but so did plenty of others. I understand them wanting to give staff time off on NYD, but then please make it ABUNDANTLY clear when you're booking that those amenities will not be available! We could have made a different choice had we known. We walked a bit over a mile to get some food (it was a nice day and we're capable of the walk but..)
Gguy tOther Than Victor beig a nice person, will never stay at Quality Inn again, checked in at 8 pm on 2/8/24 and left abruptly at 11:30 pm when I was woken by a larger water bug crawling on my arm. Called down to let them know and was told that they do NOT provide refunds , but would move me, not good enough, wanted to just leave and get my $ back, was handed a business card to call when I left. Called Guest relations at 954-617-8362, woman was so rude, she claimed I brought the bug i/n my suitcase, I neglected to tell her the place looked so crummy, that I elected to NOT bring my luggage in just in case. She wanted to know the size of the BUG, what a joke. Will dispute this on my AE, DO NOT STAY HERE
