Very good staff and good hotel. Breakfast is also a great point

Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in komfortablen Zimmern mit bequemen Betten und guten Kopfkissen. Eine Minibar hat uns gefehlt. An Sauberkeit gab es nichts auszusetzen. Das Frühstück hat mit Vielfalt und frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen überzeugt. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich.

Fürs Wochenende nach Bamberg um das Rauchbier zu probieren, der Empfang im Hotel war sehr freundlich wie auch das gesamte Personal, die Zimmer waren ausserordentlich sauber und die Betten bequem. Das Frühstück war seit langer Zeit das besten was ich in Hotels geboten bekam, riesen Auswahl alles frisch,....sehr zu Empfehlen

Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Im Wellnessbereich leider nur eine Sauna in Betrieb, beide Whirlpools nicht in Betrieb, Fitnessraum hat nur zwei Geräte. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Hotel fussläufig zur Innenstadt, Parkhaus direkt am Hotel.

Schade war, dass wir keine Dusche hatten und in die Badewann einsteigen mussten. Das bereitet mir persönlich Probleme, nächstes mal bei der Reservierung mitteilen :).

Amazing hotel with a huge garage below. The breakfast is also great.This is the fourth time we've stayed here. A few minutes walk and you're right in the center of Bamberg. The only negative thing about the rooms is that there are no electrical outlets next to the bed. Time to modernise a bit.....

This was my second stay at the Welcome Kongresshotel Bamberg. Overall, it was a fantastic stay as always. For travelers with a car or rental car, having a parking garage directly under the hotel is a huge benefit since parking can be hard to find in Bamberg. The hotel overall is modern and well furnished, has friendly and helpful staff, a great free breakfast buffet, and a bar/restaurant in the hotel for folks who are short on time to eat out in town. The hotel is walkable (20 minutes for most) to the Altstadt (old city) as well as the Innenstadt (city center) which is convenient for tourists. My room this time had a shower stall rather than bathtub which is convenient for travelers who may not be able to climb into/out of a tub due to mobility issues. The only downside for me was not being able to view local TV (Bayern 1 / 2 / 3) channels in the TV. Highly recommend this hotel!

We have been coming to this hotel for years for its location,service and great breakfast. The prices have gone up, the quality of service down and breakfast is awful. The rooms are still nice and it's still a good location in Bamberg.
