"Above and Beyond Service with. A View! First, the hotel reception counter is also the cake display. What a welcome! The location is a long uphill walk from the center but doable for the fit and best in sunny weather conditions. Free parking within the fenced area of the hotel in what seems like a safe and secure neighborhood. The rooms are nice sized although the bathroom very small, yet efficient. Super fresh and yummy breakfast with something for everyone. But this hotel will stand out in our memories for the wonderful panoramic view of Bamberg AND the exceptional service from Janine. You see, the Euro Cup games were one reason for our trip to Europe and watching them very important. We had inquired upon check-in about watching at the hotel should we not find a place in town. We watched the earlier game at the Brasserie with an excellent meal! Rain prompted an early taxi back. Janine had kindly left a note on our door. My husband and our travel companions, another couple, enjoyed a private viewing with one click of the "on" button on the remote. A late game in our lounge wear was so enjoyable and a holiday treat! "
