Outstanding beachfront location. Rooms are huge and spotlessly clean. WiFi works well. Excellent service and friendly attentive staff. Great cafe menu with delicious food.

Lovely little hotel with amazing staff and perfect location. The infinity pool and views from the restaurant are also incredible. The one big downside was staying in one of the road side rooms. The room is very small and you can hear all the noise. We had a 7 month old baby so it made things even more challenging. It felt like sleeping in the scooter parking lot. The shutters, which are the front wall facade don’t keep out any noise.We had to pay to upgrade to a suite which was a lot better as the rooms are twice the size and the ocean drowns out most noise. The hotel is also quite compact with rooms right next to each other like a standard hotel.

Good location and friendly staff

Wir waren in einem Hotel eingecheckt das uns aber gar nicht gefiel. Deshalb landeten wir im Bambora und haben es nicht bereut. Die Mitarbeiter haben uns geholfen wo sie konnten um uns aus dem anderen Hotel raus zu holen. Sie fuhren sogar hin um unser Gepäck zu holen, danach noch zum nächsten ATM damit wir die Stornierungsgebühren ziehen können die in Cash erbracht werden mussten. Um all das mussten wir nicht bitten sondern es wurde uns angeboten. Alle Mitarbeiter sind äusserst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Zimmer war sehr grosszügig und hatte eine Terrasse mit Lounge Möbeln. Sogar Sportequipment war auf der Terrasse/Balkon. Das dazugehörende Restaurant bietet eine sehr grosse Auswahl, Menues aus der ganzen Welt (Italien, Mexiko, Indonesien usw.) und es schmeckte hervorragend. Auch die Auswahl beim Frühstück (a la carte) lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Bad ist riesig und sehr modern. Uns persönlich vielleicht etwas zu dunkel da vorwiegend in schwarz gehalten, aber das ist reine Geschmackssache. Die Lage des Hotels direkt am Surfstrand, ist grossartig und man kann vom Pool und Restaurant direkt den Wellenreitern zusehen.

Beautiful spot to relax with the family and surf. Everyone loved the large outdoor couch in one of the rooms where our group could get together. The staff was super friendly and helpful they surprised our daughter on her birthday with a little celebration and cake. We will definitely be back!

Bombora is a slice of heaven in peaceful beautiful Medewi. Medewi is a quiet surfing village 3hrs from the airport. Located absolute beachfront this 12 room boutique resort has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. With the perfect left hand surf break at your door you can step from the resort into the water. The resort offers amazing food with incredible views. The staff here are special, they are so helpful, lovely and always welcome you with a big smile. Bombora has an infinity pool overlooking the surf break and the rooms are amazing. We stayed in the Residence which is upstairs and features its own pool, living area and also a fully equipped kitchen. We spent 6 wonderful nights at Bombora and did not want to leave.

We did not stay at Bombora, we were staying next door but we took most of our meals at the restaurant. The food was amazing, a big selection, great taste, and big portions. The staff are amazing, and the sunsets are the best! We are planning to stay at Bombora on our next trip to Bali.
