阿內加達海灘俱樂部(Anegada Beach Club)

What a perfect little weekend getaway! The property itself is amazing, but the staff is the reason why we will return, we left feeling like we now have friends on Anegada. The palapa we stayed in was magical...and even without AC we had great circulation of air and was very comfortable. They are so quiet and peaceful and are positioned so well on the beach you have a ton of privacy. We had breakfast both days and one night of dinner in the restaurant and just loved the ladies who took care of us. I also can not say enough about the triggerfish on the dinner menu. Thank you Esther (and Sunny), Vernika, David, Miss Maxine, and the rest of the ABC team who made our stay so special. We will be back!

Anegada Beach club is a paradise. No loud music no flashing disco lights and no problems. No need for shoes either, you will be walking on very fine white coral sand. The place is perfect and the members of friendly staff are there for you if you need anything. We were staying in one of the beautiful and very comfortable beach huts with a lovely porch where you can sit stargazing and listening to the waves. The restaurant and the bar are just a short bare foot walk away and the food is excellent. Their “Painkiller” is probably the best on the BVI. The beach is perfect for kiting or just watching the kiters and of course for snorkelling. You can rent all the equipment here. We had a very nice stay here. Thank you Esther. My husband and I enjoyed 3 relaxing nights at ABC, made perfect by the unbelievable staff. Esther gave us a warm greeting upon arrival. Since we arrived on the morning ferry, our palapa wasn’t quite ready yet. While waiting, we enjoyed the 1st of many delicious meals. Originally we weren’t planning to eat all meals at ABC but the food was delicious and the server team made us feel welcome! Huge shout outs to JJ, Maxine, Colleen and Yanni! These ladies work very hard and again really made our stay that much more enjoyable! V also took time to introduce herself and thank us for being there (and ensured a smooth checkout when it was time to leave). For our stay, we chose Surfside, the 1BR palapa. Admittedly, we are used to AC but were comfortable most nights to get a good night’s sleep. The size and layout worked well for us. Thank you to the outstanding ABC team for providing excellent service during our stay! We visited Anegada on a day trip 2 years ago and we were so impressed with ABC that we made a decision to stay there when we visited the BVIs again.

It’s all about the experience! Is it work to get here? Yes! Is it worth it? Yes! From the staff at the office, to the restaurant staff, to the housekeeping staff, to the shuttle driver, and to the grounds keepers-the whole team is what makes this place special! They have thought of every detail! We stayed in the palapa with the bathtubs. From waking up to see the sunrise from your bed to watching the sunset from your porch, it is all magical! The food was top notch and we enjoyed their sister restaurant, The Lobster Trap, which they provided a shuttle for. We loved how secluded the beach was with a private path from the palapa. Unfortunately it was sargassum season, but there were still pockets of gorgeous blue water to gaze upon. Grateful for the shelters on our secluded beach to lounge under during the day. Stargazing at night was beautiful too! We sat on our porch for hours too just feeling the breeze and soaking in the views. We did rent a car for 2 days to check out some other beaches. But we were always excited to come back to ABC. It is the best! Kept thinking it would check out the spa but never made time for it. That was probably my only regret since they had a chair massage special outside. It was the perfect to celebrate our 40th anniversary.

WOW! That describes our experience. I can not say enough about Anegada Beach Club. The front desk staff was always there to help guide us with car rentals, places to eat, our flight arrangements and the list goes on and on. They truly make you feel like family. The pool, only one on island, was always clean and felt so good after a day at the beach. Speaking of the beach, so relaxing. They have chairs down on the beach and it is always cleaned. We stayed in the hotel king bedroom. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were too. Special shout out to David, Ester and V. Oh, and I can not forget Sunny. He was always happy to receive some pats. We will be back for another relaxing stay.

The palapas at Anegada Beach Club are AMAZING! The location to the beach, the expansive front porch with thoughtful mood lighting for the evenings, the comfort of the beds, the SHOWER(!) and sleeping with the nature sounds. And it's clean, clean, clean and so well maintained. Last but NOT least...the staff is excellent!! They felt like family after our very brief 2-night stay. If we had chosen to stay anywhere else on Anegada, we wouldn't have enjoyed the island as much. And Sunny is a highlight!

very beautifully set up , kids loved the pool, think its the only one on the island. Beach was a bit wild with the sea so the pool was great for the kids. The food was very american so we all found something for lunch that we enjoyed. Great place to laze the day away

My wife and I stumbled upon the Anegada Beach Club during an extensive search for a secluded, warm weather getaway... and even though it was kind of late in the game, we managed to book a full week's stay -- and it was everything we could have hoped for! As others have said, if you stay here, you MUST spend as much of stay as you can in one of the palapas. We were able to spend 4 of the seven nights in one and it truly could not have been better (though the hotel room was quite nice and comfortable, and does save a little $). The palapa room is airy and comfortable, with those amazing tropical breezes always blowing (augmented by several fans for comfortable sleep) with an incredibly private, secluded feel -- staring out at the blue waters of what seems like your private, Caribbean beach. We spent countless hours on the deck, chilling in the hammock chairs and reading... watching the local feral cows occasionally wander by and basically just decompressing. And it was easy, because the resort is small, which means not many people. 2 mile long walks on the beach were usually notable IF you saw another person. And for times. when you feel like you are ok with signs of humanity, there's the excellent on-site restaurant, or you can walk a mile or so down the beach to lunch at one of the spots on Cow Wreck beach. The only thing we would have added was maybe a mini-fridge so we could keep some cold drinks on hand, but ABC does provide a cooler that they will fill with ice upon request. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful for our entire stay, helping us with dinner reservations, shuttling us to local restaurants, and setting up our snorkeling and stand-up paddleboard excursions. We also each got 90 minute massages, and I can confidently say it was one of not THE best massage I've ever had. Also incredibly helpful was the fact that the resort has a generator, which was a godsend when there was an island-wide blackout during our stay. While other hotels and most restaurants were plunged into darkness... ABC didn't miss a beat, keeping everything running until power was restored several hours later. I will also echo other reviews in hesitating to write this review because you don't want it to get overrun by guests... but the fact that it is a manageable size will hopefully protect that priceless sense of seclusion and privacy It takes some effort to get to Anegada, but if you make it, and stay here... you will not regret it!

I can really only echo other reviewers' superlatives regarding the Anegada Beach Club. Stunning setting, wonderful food, but the most impressive feature is the level of service provided by every single member of the staff. It's Ritz-Carlton level service, but relaxed and organic, not stuffy at all. Perfect! Others here have given shout-outs to V, David and Esther (and Sunny!), and I'll add a special thanks to Heather whose lime-peel twist garnish on a terrific daiquiri I am totally stealing. We are already planning a return next year. We'd been to Anegada twice before on a bareboat charter in the BVI and always felt the island merited a longer stay. There's a pretty high level of effort required to get to Anegada by ferry, but that's what keeps it uncrowded. (Indeed, I hope all these glowing reviews don't result in Anegada getting overcrowded as can be the case elsewhere in the Caribbean.)
