阿姆斯特丹歐洲飯店(De L’Europe Amsterdam – the Leading Hotels of the World)

Great place. The personnel are very knowledgeable and friendly. Art is practically everywhere in the hotel. Exquisite taste indeed. Comfortable rooms. Clean service. I wasn’t blown away with the Italian restaurant at the lobby. Kind staff though. Jordan was such a gentleman and even walked us to our destination point outside the hotel despite the cold weather, making sure we arrived on time to our appointments. Overall, it’s a very fine establishment and would highly recommend the hotel to everybody. Will stay again.

This hotel experience was amazing from arrival to departure. We absolutely loved everything about this place. We booked through the AMEX Fine Hotels program and the amenities provided did not disappoint. Our room was truly huge compared to other luxury hotels in Europe. The bathroom was luxurious, from the Dyptique toiletries to the Dyson hair dryer. The breakfast was fantastic! I don’t think I’ve ever had eggs more perfectly cooked day after day. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the lobby bar, which was a perfect respite from the outside crowds. Maybe my only suggestion would be to have that remain open longer. Midnight on a Saturday in Amsterdam felt very early for a last call. We cannot wait to come back for our next stay!

The best! I spent 4 marvelous days in Amsterdam, and this hotel is just the best in every aspect. Location, beautiful building, refined architecture, great service, relaxed ambiance. It even has a very complete spa. All the staff lovely people! A place to ho back to.

Hotel is very nicely located in the centre of the historical canal ring area. I just stayed one night and did not have the opportunity to visit any of the restaurants. However, my major disappointment was in relation to the room service. After a long day I come to my room around midnight and decided to have quick dinner before going to sleep. I called the room service to order tomato soup (only choice) club sandwich with fries and a coke. After half an hour, I received a call saying that they ran out of soup. I asked why it took half an hour to figure out they had no soup, the gentleman on the phone was not apologetic. He said, I don’t know that is what they told me from the kitchen in a rude way. Then I waited another 25 minutes to receive my order. They forgot the french fries and brought a bottle of coke without opening the cap, no glass and ice. I called again they said they forgot the fries and the glass but they can bring it in a non apologetic way. In the mean time, I found a glass from the mini bar area which I usually hesitate to use since I am not sure how long they have been there. I also found a bottle opener for the coke. When I tasted my club sandwich, it was cold and the tasted bread was very hard to eat like a rubber. I seriously think this hotel has a problem with the room service which needs to be fixed starting from the chef to the person who has been answering the phone.

If you don't know Amsterdam, this hotel will work perfectly for your first time, the location is central enough, is a beautiful sector, food in the hotel is amazing, take the breakfast in the hotel. The hairdryer is dyson, bed is high quality, everyone in the hotel is really nice. The Italian restaurant in the hotel is also excellent. 5/5 in everything, if I go back to Amsterdam i will stay in this hotel.
