巴比裡飯店(Hotel Barbieri)

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel una notte per spezzare il viaggio verso la Sicilia, attirata dalla posizione e dalle recensioni sulla cucina. Dispone di un ampio parcheggio, camera tripla molto spaziosa, pulita e con un balcone che si affaccia sul piccolo e bellissimo borgo di Altomonte. A cena siamo stati accolti dai gentilissimi proprietari che si sono intrattenuti a spiegarci che i piatti sono fatti tutti con loro prodotti. Il tavolo era affacciato sulla piscina. Non l'abbiamo utilizzata perché abbiamo preferito visitare il borgo. Gli antipasti erano abbondanti e buonissimi così come tutto il resto delle portate. Il tutto a prezzi più che onesti visto che si tratta di un 4 stelle. Che dire... grazie e alla prossima se dovesse ricapitare l'occasione!

Meraviglioso tutto!!!😍 Cibo ottimo tipico Calabrese ma soprattutto genuino , location suggestiva , molto pulito e confortevole, personale attento e premuroso in maniera sconvolgente...consiglio assolutamente!!!!!!!!!

4 stelle? Non direi proprio. Camere completamente da rivedere per ciò che riguarda l’arredamento, le porte ed i danni subiti nel tempo su piastrelle, per esempio. L’hotel manca in pratica di una vera e propria hall dove rilassarsi quando non si vuole stare in camera, ci sono dei tavolini nell’ ingresso dunque in una zona di passaggio. Non è stato possibile avere un *****ni al bar dell’hotel, penso sia abbastanza strano per un 4 stelle. Sala congressi con sedie scomodissime per star seduti oltre un tot di tempo. Piante ben curate. Colazione nella norma e ristorante nella media, un po’ di creatività non guasterebbe. Attesa di più di un’ora per avere la camera e nemmeno un drink per ingannare l’attesa o comunque un bicchier d’acqua. Ho alloggiato per lavoro, per cui l’arrivo dei partecipanti al corso era previsto.

Sono stato con mia moglie (disabile) ad un matrimonio, è andato tutto bene per il pranzo e per la gentilezza del servizio, ma quando ci hanno detto di trasferirci dal ristorante a bordo piscina...ELIMINAZIONE DELLE BARRIERE ARCHITETTONICHE... ZERO!

Recently paid a visit to this hotel and had an excellent stay. The big plus point of this hotel was the friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is on the edge of the town with a 10 minute walk to the centre. Very picturesque town but also very hilly. If you have walking problems then avoid. Excellent swimming pool and the food was good. I would thougherly recommend this hotel, really enjoyed our stay. The only negatives were the size of the shower which was minute. I understand some rooms are being refurbished. Keep up the good work.

The hotel gives the appearance of being lifted from a film set. It is 500 feet high and situated on one side of a valley. The town is on the other. There is a terrace over looking the town with seating and large umbrellas. Several bedrooms have a balcony providing a panoramic view of the countryside. and town's church on top of the hill. There is a lovely view of the town in the evening when it is lit up. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere as it is family run. Items for breakfast suit all tastes. You pre-order your evening meal. The pool area is a good place to relax.

This is a family run hotel, perched on top of a hill in the village of Altomonte. You need transport to get anywhere. The views from my balcony were stunning, I could see the sea on my right and mountains in front and to the left of me. The food was satisfactory, staff were pleasant. Tea and coffee making facilities available in everyone’s room. Every evening we were there, there was a party on the terrace. The parties could get quite loud but I just put my earplugs in. The family own and run the Cantina restaurant on top of another hill and we had a very pleasant evening there with entertainment provided by 2 more members of the family. Although it was mid June and Italian school holidays, the hotel was very quiet. Old fashioned room keys with heavy fobs made sure you left them when you went out or didn’t take them with you when you left. We didn’t have to pay a tourist tax at this hotel.

Lovely family run hotel. Cost hotel, well run by the family. Rooms slightly dated, but this added to it's charm. Wi-Fi is spasmodic, but the beautiful scenery and hotel outlook more than make up for this. Would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday
