Le foto falsano la realtà e certamente datate. Albergo vecchio e sporco. Letti cigolanti, ogni movimento durante la notte arreca disturbo. Mobilio della stanza vetusto. Bagno indecente: porta tovaglia di plastica, di pochi euro, rotto a metà e riparato con lo scotch. Rotto a metà anche il marmo del lavello. Tovaglie logore. Pulizia del bagno scadente. Set di cortesia inesistente: una sola piccola saponetta per due persone. Caldobagno sopra la porta del bagno, vecchio ed arrugginito. Ho dovuto protestare per avere il frigo previsto fra i confort. Colazione con poca scelta. Cortesia dello staff, ottima.

Hotel com uma localização fantástica com uma envolvente óptima.
Hotel um pouco datado com alguns melhoramentos possíveis .

O espaço está desatualizado e em fracas condições, o que é uma pena tendo em conta o staff super atencioso e acolhedor que encontramos. claramente é um problema de gestão, é pena que este hotel num sitio fantástico, com vista deslumbrante e uma equipa simpática, não tenha uma gestão com melhor olho para o investimento e modernização do espaço. Até porque sendo o único hotel e estando sempre com reservas, poderia ser um negocio mesmo lucrativo!

Staff muito atento e simpático. Comida do restaurante muito bem servida. A limpeza do quarto não foi a melhor, se é que houve limpeza de todo. Ao abrir a cama os lençóis tinham pêlos e pequenas manchas de sangue. O lençol protetor também estava com cabelos. As lâmpadas estavam com pó, teias de aranha nos cantos e o cortinado quase a cair. O secador da casa de banho não estava a funcionar. A rapidez do Wi-Fi e o sinal da televisão são também aspetos a melhorar.

The welcome, the service, the food were all excellent. It was a last minute decission to book ans stay in the Alte Hotel but we were glad we did, OK some of it is a little dated but so are we. Will definitely be staying there again. Thanks to all of the staff.

Hotel alte Not 3 star. Basic! arrived for check in at 3pm room not available til 430pm. Terrible service and they could care less so not a good start. General outdated rooms and hotel and needs repair. old fashioned furnishings. Veranda chairs nasty old hard plastic uncomfortable and very dirty worn one broken not replaced. Breakfast continental only and basic Internet very poor if at all no connectivity in room or parts of hotel except reception So very poor for the 21st century 2024. Cleaning hit and miss had to ask for clean towels after 4 days and soap container not filled and no clean sheets unless you ask. all at cleaners descretion apparently. No standards. tipped our cleaner 10euros but service no better! So don't bother... Pool is cleaned occasionally not heated. Chipped tiles. Lots of broken sunbeds and broken sun umbrellas. Pool time spoilt by 4 very loud screaming kids apparently the owners they monopolised the small pool with their pool toys and huge floats making swimming impossible. Not to. Mention the loud screaming and noise. maybe the owner should remember his guests should come first as they pay the bills. Won't be returning.

Was couple nights spent in Alte Hotel. I am so happy. Lovely stuff ,kind, friendly. Special want to say big thank you to Reception girl Patricia Also Waitress Jenny and another lovely guy, can't remember name. They absolutely amazing. Food in hotel fresh and really tasty. The housekeeping stuff was lovely too. Thank you, Thank you 10_10. Will go definitely again. Really Recommend this lovely place xx

Start with the positives- beautiful view, nice looking hotel from the outside, reception staff welcoming and 'john' in the bar was superb, nothing was a problem for him, he went out of his way for us. Negatives- Dated rooms, curtains we're off a few hooks, stained inner curtain, they weren't the best, pool was fine but needs cleaned up ie the cracks around it and some chlorine in to keep the water fresh. It's 1km from the nearest town which is fine but its 1km up hill so wouldn't advise if you struggle to walk. Having to pay extra for a fridge, really should be in anyway same with tea and coffee, you would think they would have in but, you have to buy at the bar. We went half board for 1 week and the menu was OK for like 2 days but it was the same menu for lunch and dinner, would advise mixing it up. The breakfast was very basic and again, the same every morning. Some staff were abrupt, felt they were more for the other visitors and cleaners didn't really do much. If you want to go to albufeira, it cost us anything from €15-30 one way so would be best hiring a car. Overall an OK hotel for 1-2 nights max.
