It's a rather old fashioned, forgettably decorated hotel in a good central spot of Almeria. Because the hotel is situated in a small square surrounded by buildings, the rooms seem to have no special view (mine looked out onto a side street, my friend's onto a wall) and are a little dark (although this is quite normal in Spain). The breakfast buffet was modest but decent. The bed was comfortable, everything worked, I had all I needed, and the staff were generally helpful, but the vibe was fairly dismal. Also the staff seemed to be obsessed with closing windows, and there was no obvious system to stop them laundering the towels every day. No complaints, but I'd probably seek another place next time.

My rating is probably a bit generous given that the debacle started from check in. No car parking available so it was suggested that we drive to a public parking area near the ferry terminal and cross busy roads. Had obnoxious noisy guests on our floor and requested a change of room if the hotel couldn't resolve the situation. They offered a room on the same floor, but every room on the floor could hear these people until nearly 2am. Apparently they were spoken to but it didn't do any good. A decent hotel would have removed them. And then to add insult to injury (and it almost was injury!), the cord on the hairdryer which is so short that you almost have to stand in the bidet to use it, gave me a zap as it sparked and shorted out. Hotel itself is very dated.

This hotel has awful customer service. Practically no service whatsoever. They don't reply to emails or calls. Even when I asked to speak with the manager, I had to go to the front desk 4 times on different days to get help (when they said the manager would call me within 24 hours). Also, beware of their irons. The one they provided overheated and created a huge hole in one of my dresses... which of course they refused to compensate me for. I would suggest finding a better hotel near the beach or city centre.

Big rooms, with plenty of space for a dog crate. Secure underground parking, two large outdoor terraces with tiles and Astro turf. Great for the dogs to run around on if it’s quiet. Breakfast was very good. The best on our 4 night road trip. Reception team very friendly and helpful.

No faltaba un detalle todo muy limpio y la decoración de 10. La piscina pequeñita pero perfecta para un remolón en pleno centro de Almería. Nos cogió la feria y estuvimos súper cerca de la feria de día. El checking online en cajero nunca habíamos hecho pero bastante intuitivo. Muy recomendable
