A basic but very clean room. The fridge was useful. A small balcony with views up and down the street. The bed was comfortable. A single small drawer for clothes and hanging space. Table and chair for balcony. Spare blanket. Excellent location for local beaches and good fish restaurants. The room was great.

My family and I stayed at this hotel in February 2024 and genuinely say we had a wonderful time. When you arrive at the hotel and walk into the entrance, you are impressed and the same feeling continues. As you walk around the hotel see the beautiful pools. The landscaping and the karen attention has been taken to ensure your stay is luxurious. . The food in resturants was excellent, and I I do particularly want to call out the main restaurant which we found the choice to be excellent service to be excellent and as of vegetarian I never struggled for choice. The rest of my family went as fussy as me and likewise had a fantastic experience. Plenty of choice of pools from Family one to an adult one and then some small ones, plus the infinity ball. We did not try the infinity pool as the water in there was too cold but I have to say it looked wonderful and I’m sure in the summer would be incredible to use. Where I feel Hotel could make some improvements harris follow :- ＞ it’s a bit We were reminded on a number of occasions by the waiters serving the family pool that we are only allowed to use their service twice in one day per room, after that, we would have to pay €6 per person. I believe there should be no cap, having one I found rather petty.. ＞ sports facilities were good such as Paddel and Tennis, but I was a little surprised you had to pay to use the facilities. We have stayed at other hotels, even four star and did not have to pay for the facilities. ＞ in the rooms there was clear notice that you could use the soluble coffee, but if you chose to use an nesprosso pod in the machine provided you had to pay. Likewise, you had some alcohol within the room which was all chargeable. You could drink the Coca-Cola, the water or the tonic water, but if you chose the fanta orange you had to pay. Given this is a five star hotel and all inclusive with no limit on any drinks you want to get from the bars and bring back to your room again, I feel this was petty.. Overall, a great holiday, do recommend this to other travellers, but just ask the management look at some of the comments above and change policy.

This was our first visit to the Landmar Playa LaArena and as everything was so fantastic we’ve just booked to go back next March. We had upgraded to Platinum which is worth every penny. We were met at reception by Margarita who got things off to a great start by giving us both an ice cold towel to go round our necks and a lovely cold beer. These were both very welcome having had a very dodgy flight out from the Uk with three failed landings in Tenerife and an unscheduled visit to Gran Canaria. Margarita was brilliant. The check in was easy and quick, she was a font of all knowledge when it came to the hotel and local area and was great at making arrangements such as getting booked into the a La carte restaurant. Being Platinum guests means that you get the feeling of staying in a high end boutique hotel, whilst having access to all the facilities of a much bigger resort. The Platinum pool area with its own bar, eatery and infinity pool makes for a very special area to while away the hours. There was no sun bed “reserving” going on and there was always plenty of space. The staff were always on the ball making sure there was always plenty of fresh food available which was of a standard way above normal pool bar offerings and with cocktails, ice creams and nibbles served everyday to your sun lounger things couldn’t have been better. The Platinum bar is a great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the hotel whilst still being able to listen to any of the acts playing nearby. The choice of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks appeared to be endless and as it is self service you can make yours just how you like it. We enjoyed all the food served in both the Arena Restaurant and the main buffet restaurant. There was always plenty of choice, with the food kept nice at a good temperature and with dishes being refreshed regularly. Our room, which was kept spotless throughout, had a fantastic sea view from the balcony over the entire complex. The room facilities were excellent and the quirky bathroom with two showers made getting ready of an evening a breeze.

Rooms are spacious and cleaned Monday Wednesday and Fridays, the cleaners are very good, enough equipment in the kitchen if you want to cook, good nice fridge with small freezer on the top. First day when we arrived we checked in nice and fast and went upstairs to the kids pool, the life guard there was very rude and made us feel very un welcome for a minute I worried this was not going to be a nice holiday, the children wernt allowed to go in the big pool even with an adult present and wernt allowed to play with there toys in the kids pool, we then decided to try the down stairs pool and what a difference our holiday began the children were in and out of the pool with there pool toys NO INFLATABLES and they were happy which made us happy, the life guard Sebastian was really really good he would move umbrellas for people who wanted shade and put sun beds where ever you wanted, he was always chatty and smiled a lot and made us all feel so welcome Thankyou Sebastian. The hotel is all you can ask for and expect really clean pool side pizzas and chips we’re a hit with the kids I would definitely come again Thankyou Vigilia park just a shame about the life guard on the 22nd may in the top pool the only thing that let the place down xxx
