The hotel is on a huge beach but I preferred the pool and really fun Tiki bar. They had live entertainment at night and drink prices were very reasonable and the food was AWESOME. I would highly reccommend the hotel to adults that want to have a good time or a family looking for a great value and a lot of fun.

I have stayed at this small hotel every winter for the last 8 years. I liked the location and the beach area. The hotel continues to go downhill each year. Stayed for 6 nights in January. The place was grimy from the hallway through the main entrance to the sidewalks in the interior perimeter and the floor of our poolside room. There have been no updates since our first started visiting. The bathroom has chipped sinks and the headboards are wobbly. Room service is sketchy, not asking for a thorough cleaning every day but trash was not emptied and towels were hard to get. The floor was swept 1 time. We tipped the service staff and never complained. They were friendly, just inefficient. Front desk staff was not even friendly. I know the pandemic has caused issues for all businesses, but the decline started before covid. I'm sad that I won't be back next year.

We always go to Ft Myers Beach every Labor Day and we decided to stay at the Wyndham. We had a wonderful time. The pool was so nice. Pinchers restaurant is right on property and their Happy Hour was great. Our room was spacious n bathroom was very large. The staff was pleasant also. We’d definitely return

Location was fabulous with many bars, liquor stores, and even a 7-11 very close with walking. Glad we didn't stay up north because it was a zoo with people and traffic and parking. Rooms were outdated but having a bar and restaurant and Tiki bar and pool were great along with the beach (which was quite the walk, even thou it's on the beach). Food at the Tiki bar and Pinchers was mediocre but if you drink enough you might not notice. lol.

Cockroaches in the rooms and did not get a full refund. The room was dirty and also the AC units outside of the rooms were all leaking and had towels to cover the leaks which I’m sure attracted bugs and especially cockroaches!!
