despite booking and paying for the stay in full I was not checked into the hotel. I had to look for another one. Reason? I forgot my credit card and without this magic thing they won't let you into the hotel, absolutely ******* situation, I've been to many hotels in the world but I've never experienced anything so stupid. apart from that I advise against visiting Argentina, boring country

Extremely Disappointing Experience_ I recently had the misfortune of booking a room at this hotel on short notice due to a flight cancellation. My one-night stay was marred by appalling mistreatment from the staff. The hotel's inability to manage basic guest situations is staggering. Upon arrival, I was met with a dismissive and unfriendly front desk team. The staff seemed completely uninterested in resolving my issues. They appeared untrained in basic customer service. The lack of empathy and understanding from the staff was shocking. It's clear that the hotel is severely understaffed and unprepared to handle even the simplest requests. Unless the hotel takes serious steps to address3 these issues, I strongly advise against staying here. The mistreatment I received has left a sour taste, and I will not return. - Unfriendly and dismissive front desk staff - Poor management of basic guest situations - Lack of empathy and understanding from staff - Severe understaffing and unpreparedness _Would not recommend_

The receptionists are awful. All the personnel treats you like garbage. It's unimaginable that a 4 star hotel would make their guests feel like they are not welcome. No manager on site to complain about these things. Terrible breakfast. Everything about it is just dreadful. Hard pass.

The best thing is the location - right next to the underground station. Carrefour around the corner. The room was perfect - spacious and cozy. So was the view. The pool ok. Minuses: the staff at the restaurant don't speak English (come on, it's a good hotel in the centre!). Is there really a problem to translate the menu into English? Poor selection of non alcoholic drinks. The space for breakfast is too small, hard to walk around at the peak hour. And why the hell there are no umbrellas at the pool? You have to sit in the sunlight at 40°. Install whatever, some cheap shade would be enough. And the WORST THING ever - never in the whole big world have I found the prohibition on food in the room. We had to waste two pizzas because they didn't allow us to take it to the room. What a stupid rule! Why aren't guests allowed to eat what they want?

A big shout out to @bookingcom and @grandviewhotelba . Book in as part of a bicycling trip, with bike. Check in last night after a long wait, recheck in this morning for my own booking, before going through the same process again this afternoon when picking up the room key. Besides a 30 min wait at the second recheck in, the only difference was the addition of a fee for keeping my bagged bicycle in the room. A room big enough to play indoor cricket or full court basketball, possibly both at the same time. Booking through @bookingcom was as a “Total room price” basis, with no mention of a storage fee for items kept in your own room. Over a barrel at 5:30 pm. In South America. Asked for the manager. Of course they bravely left the receptionists to deal with the issue. Pretty sad as they were wonderful ladies and had obviously been placed in a difficult spot. Disappointed is an understatement. Unfortunate end to a great trip. Highlights the excellent service at the MGallery through @accor @accor_live_limitless I won’t stray from tried and true brands again.
