A perfect place to relax calm and serene, beautifuly decorated in a colonial style. We just love the place ! The pools are great !

Drinks should be served at the same time for four persons.1st one finished & others still waiting .Drinks were perfectly done & tasty. Very friendly crew .This is just a feedback for the crew to learn .Thank you all & a beautiful Nooit gedacht !

We stayed in a budget room, which suited us fine. It was air-conditioned and had a small terrace we could sit out on. An advantage of the budget rooms is that they are near the restaurant so you get full strength Wi-Fi in them. The building and gardens offered a fabulous oasis in a rather over developed and busy resort. The pool was big and there were sufficient sun loungers most of the time but no matter what time I chose for my morning swim between 7 and 10 it was always closed for cleaning. We were very disappointed in the breakfast, as it was put out at 7.30 and , as far as we could see, was not then replenished. We ended up having to get up earlier than we would normally do on holiday just to take advantage of the breakfast we had paid for. The staff were friendly and helpful but could have understood their jobs better. For example, there wasn’t a morning when we didn’t have to gather cutlery from other tables before we could eat our breakfast. I’m glad I stayed there but would not do so again.

This place is stunning in terms of the substance and beauty of the building and garden. And the peace that it offers in the midst of the Moscow suburb that is the rest of Unawatuna was fantastic. The staff were kind, helpful and attentive but could do with a little more management guidance . The breakfasts were limited and offered little choice. Although great efforts were made the hotel does suffer from bitting insects. You will enjoy this place with good quality mozzie coils.

Wow the hotel is more of heritage been frozen in times. Good place with all the modern amenities. Peaceful place for family and friends. Lot of mosquitoes but that’s not their problem, carry mosquito repellants with you. Good food and pool to relax.
