We stayed in a fantastic, spacious suite (#302). It was exceptionally well laid out and even had a fireplace. The room was clean and attractive. Mattress was firm but comfortable. The room was very clean. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which was similar to those of other Fairfield Inns. All the personnel we met tried hard to please. There was some road noise from nearby highways, but it did not bother us.

Horrible place, we had 2 rooms, and had checked in late the previous night. One of the rooms had a large wet patch on the carpet the next morning from a leak from the AC unit. The place smelled awful. Breakfast was mediocre at best. The sofa bed was like sleeping on metal coils without any padding whatsoever.

While riding though the area, I decided to spend the night here. I reserved a room online on the same day I was travelling... no problem. When I got into White River Junction, it took quite a while to find this place (not using a GPS) - I had to stop and ask a couple of times for directions. The downtown can be a bit hard to navigate with its two traffic circles back-to-back, but what makes it really tough is that the hotel is located in a cluster of other hotels, off to the dies, with its sign (small) obscured by trees. If you find the Dunkin Donuts and the Gas station, pull in between them and turn left... you will find it. Inside, the hotel is fresh and new with roomy comfortable rooms, excellent A/C, and good hot water. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there is a free breakfast in the morning (eggs, meat, bagels, yoghurt, etc). Overall, excellent place to stay!

The hotel has listed hot breakfasts, but they don't have them usually and you will not learn this until you check in. My room had hairs in the shower and was dirty. The beds are not comfortable. The front desk agent at night was nice, but during the day not very welcoming. The manager will not return calls and she is running this hotel and the hampton inn next door at the same time - which demonstrates why the hotel is in poor condition. The hotel is nice on the outside, but the inside is like a low-end Motel 6. Forget getting any items you forgot, they don't have them or what they give you is 2 years old. The kitchen person was this man with what appeared to be no teeth wearing a tattered outside jacket, who I thought was a homeless person. He was telling everyone how they were not hot food as he was not certified in food handling yet. The little food pantry area is totally empty, nothing at all is stocked too. One side of the hotel faces I-91 and they put the Bonvoy elite members on this side so you can listen to the highway all night long!

We stayed a week for combo business/play. The employees were wonderful. Friendly and accommodating. The hotel does have some age to it but it is kept very clean. They offer housekeeping every day if you wish which is unusual as most hotels are so short handed. If you are looking for luxury and 5 star accommodation, this isn’t your place. But if you want comfortable, clean and friendly staff, I would definitely stay here. We also got a great rate.
