Unfortunately, the hotel seems it is in desperate need of some TLC!! The room I was in looked to have damp damage on the ceiling to the point where the plaster was crumbling off onto the floor! One of our parties room smelt so terribly of smoke and as a smoker I must say it was terrible!! The best part of the hotel is the staff, by far!! They went over and above to look after us so thank you for this!!

After reading reviews, I was very apprehensive about staying here. It's not the easiest place to get to during the day, but very easy at night or early in the morning. I was pleasantly surprised to see this location is not as bad as previously presented. It was refurbished over the last couple of years. They were updating security as we arrived. Clean. Rooms appear to be clean. Less towels than the normal 3-4 towels usually supplied. Small bagged breakfast being offered for the next morning. There was no bartender during the week. Not so good with communication upon arrival, though. We were not advised of breakfast, elevator location, not very attentive/lacked greeting and had us wait without saying anything. We just stood there while she did what she was currently doing, talking to housekeeping, etc. She was busy, but a greeting and a notification that she would be right with us when she was done would have been good so we didn't stand there wondering if we were waiting at the right place to check in. The rooms have very low toilets. And, I mean VERY LOW. Lower than an average toilet. I've never seen anything like it. Very small bathroom, also. Not a good place to stay long-term, but for short stays, on your way through, just to sleep, etc., it's good.

In town for the Stadium Tour and we got this hotel deal off Groupon. Price was reasonable. We arrived at 2pm and were told that check in was not till after 3. I feel that this is a late check in with an early check out. We checked in and had to leave for our concert right away. By the time we returned it was late and everything was closed so we went to bed. We woke up and it was check out. We literally had no time from check in to check out to experience any of the hotel amenities. Simply not enough time with such a late check in. Our room wasn't even clean as we had open half drank water bottles on the TV stand and trash in the can with no trash bag. They had holes in the wall and no Fridge or Microwave in the Room. In the end the price wasn't worth what we got from the stay. Not enough parking either in the area around the entrance without having to walk aways. They need an early check in so guests can use the facilities, unless this is done by design.

From my review history you can tell that I am often generous. So, when I rate something as a one star, I mean it. The hotel is in a sketchy area of town. It is not well-maintained. We were promised a free breakfast and were provided with “go” bags, which were pathetic. It appears that Four Points is resting on its laurels. Do not stay here.
