I recently stayed at a hotel right next to Jongno 3-ga Station in Seoul, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in the city.
One of the standout features right from the start was the range of convenient amenities available to guests. The hotel lobby had a currency exchange machine, which saved me the hassle of finding a bank or exchange booth — a huge plus when traveling. There was also a 24-hour snack bar, where I could grab drinks or snacks at any time, which came in especially handy during late nights. On top of that, the hotel offered a free washing machine, which was a lifesaver since I packed light and needed to keep my clothes fresh throughout my stay.
The location was another major highlight. Being just a short walk from Jongno 3-ga subway station made it incredibly easy to get around Seoul. Whether I wanted to visit iconic sites like Gyeongbokgung Palace or head out for nightlife, transportation was never a problem.
The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed. I really appreciated having a safe to securely store my valuables while I was out exploring. The bed was plush and the bedding soft and fresh, making it easy to get a good night's rest after a full day of sightseeing. The bathroom was spotless, and the shower had great water pressure — a small detail that made a big difference.
The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. They offered clear directions, recommended local restaurants, and even gave me tips on nearby cultural experiences. The neighborhood is perfect for food lovers — from Korean BBQ joints to street food stalls, everything was within walking distance. It felt like a truly authentic Seoul experience, without being overwhelmed by tourist crowds.
Another perk of the location was how close it was to the wholesale markets. Walking through those lively, bustling areas gave me a glimpse into everyday local life, and I loved trying fresh snacks and watching local vendors in action. It added real cultural depth to my trip.
All in all, this hotel checked every box: excellent location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and thoughtful amenities like the currency exchange machine, free laundry, and 24-hour snack access. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul who wants convenience, comfort, and a genuine local vibe. I’m already planning my next trip and will definitely stay here again.
