If you’re seeking a tranquil getaway, Solea Resort might not be your ideal destination. During my recent two-night stay (check-in on May 25 and check-out on May 27), I hoped to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. The Good: - Scenic Setting: Solea Resort boasts a picturesque location, perfect for unwinding. - Responsive Staff: The management promptly addressed our concerns when we complained about the noise. The Not-So-Good: - Weekend Crowds: As expected, weekends draw a crowd to the resort. However, it was the events held in the park area that bothered me the most. Various groups set up tents for their gatherings, resulting in noise throughout the day. - Karaoke and Loud Music: One tent hosted a lively karaoke session, while another blared music through large speakers. The glass tent, where a wedding reception took place, played music until 10 PM. Unfortunately, the sound carried into our room. - Neighboring Rooms: To add insult to injury, neighboring rooms were equally noisy. We endured loud conversations and banging sounds all night, leaving us sleep-deprived. Staff’s Response: Thankfully, the staff acknowledged our plight and accommodated our request to change rooms. Although it meant downgrading from our original booking, the peace and rest we sought became our priority. Recommendations: - Weekday Stays: If you’re after a quiet experience, consider booking on weekdays when the resort is less busy. - Cityview Rooms on Higher Floors: Opt for cityview rooms on higher floors to minimize noise from events and neighboring guests. Suggestions for Solea Management: - Carpeted Hallways: Installing carpets in hallways can significantly reduce noise transmission. - Soundproof Doors: Enhance room doors’ soundproofing to ensure a more peaceful stay. - Event Management: Implement measures to prevent outdoor events from disturbing guests in nearby rooms. This was my third visit to Solea, and unfortunately, it may be my last due to the disturbances encountered. I hope this feedback helps future visitors make informed decisions. 🌴🌟
