|距離市中心1.22kmPros: * convenient location: at a walking distance from the taxi stand, paid parking, pubs, restaurants, shops selling everything from souvenirs to Sikkim's famous temi tea, etc. * helpful staff: 4 diligent people who provided the kind of superb service I hardly see even in big swanky hotels. To list a few such moments, Raju at the front desk helped with creating the travel card mandatory in sikkim, the cook whipped up a cup of tea even though it was late at night and the kitchen had clearly closed, they installed a new set-top box when we informed then that the tv didn't work, and finally (on our last day there, as the cold rains made it difficult to go out for dinner, they cooked us piping-hot food that tasted like delicious dinner (rohu included) in a bengali home. Cons: * even though they have a sign at the top of the building that's clearly visible during the day, it will help to spot it at night if the sign was illuminated. Google adds to the confusion by navigating you to a dead-end behind the hotel. * it would help if at least one of the phone numbers they have provided worked all the time - none of the 3 were operational when i was trying to locate the hotel. Conclusion: the hotel is a short walk from the road, but that to me is a blessing in disguise as it's accessible by foot from the shopping district (both the staircase market off mg marg and lal bazaar) but it's not in the middle of all the touristy commotion. I admit that finding the building is a bit of a challenge but it's a small cost to pay for the wonderful view of thakurbari temple and the gangtok hillside (depends on the room though. The rooms are tidy with facilities like a working geyser, a clean toilet, a kettle, a hot jug of drinking water, etc. Most of all, i liked the people who ran the place - a special shout out to raju who called and checked if we managed to catch our flight as there were landslides en route the next day.

Special thanks to Sandesh who was available all the time right from the morning to night irrespective of his shift. Never seen the owner who himself made me comfortable to the extent that he played karaoke and guitar to make the evening special and memorable one. Food is amazing and rooms were spacious with balcony ❤️ Overall good budget stay and five star service ✅

|距離市中心0.71kmAmazing experience at this property. The rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. My room had a nice balcony and we could keep it open for the view and a nice cool breeze. The best part is possibly the staff - ketan is extremely attentive and always makes sure you get the best service. Their food is also great. Initially it felt odd that the hotel is so unassuming on the outside. We missed it the first time and had to drive back to find it. However that doesn’t reduce its value at all.

|距離市中心5.07kmIt was an ok experience. The hotel is a little run down in parts. Service at the dinner rooms were not always the best. The staff are not really bothered and would not give the menu quickly for instance. The room was nice but again it was not in the main block.. there was something missing in the hotels experience. The free evening tea and snack was awful. Yea was made terribly and the snack was tasteless. There are better evening tea service in places with yum snacks. This was plain simple boring and stingy at giving good food.
Personally I would not stay here again.

However, i found the dinner options to be only okayish, lacking the same level of excellence as the breakfast. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with some room for improvement in the dinner experience.

1. Mr. Eric - he is one of the main staff at the hotel manages all. Hes been a fantastic and helpful person to interact with. In an emergency when i had to catch the flight and i was let down by a pure booked taxi, eric helped very quickly and i was put to the right cab driver to reach the airport just on time. 2. Nannu - reception staff. Shes also been very helpful and prompt in her service for any thing i reached out for. 3. Ganashyam was also providing very good room service. 4. Tshewang aron, sushant were food servers who were also very courteous and dedicated in their service. 5. Not to forget last but not least the important part food was very good in this hotel thanks to the dedicated and magical hands of the cooks and kitchen staffs -nitesh, shekhar and pranil. Overall i had a thoroughly happy experience at the hotel which is why i rate it 5/5 stars and i strongly recommend the travellers to choose this hotel in all aspects. It is little away from the real main road off the city gangtok but its not a reason to not choose the hotel ! this hotel suits all kinds of tourists whether solo or family.
