奇平卡姆登民宿

我妻子為我的生日把我帶到這裡住了兩個晚上。我們發現它是一個非常不錯的住宿地點。非常友好的工作人員，非常乾淨，可愛的房間（在後面的較新部分）。食物非常好-早餐，可以自己煮水果，穀類食品，酸奶等，但是煮熟了 需要訂購全套英語的物品，而不能通過熱壓機幫助自己。晚餐也非常好，無論是傳統英式還是斯里蘭卡廚師Sunil提供的優質咖哩。可能有一個小小的負面影響，那就是冷板上放有熱食。 徹底享受我們的住宿。我們上一次蜜月旅行是在40年前，所以我們來卡姆登（Camden）度過了，因此很高興能有一些探索的時間。參觀高街下的遊客問訊處以獲取出色的本地信息-必須看到在羊街下的老絲綢廠裡的手工藝品運動的工匠-哈特的銀匠們使用祖父從很早就從倫敦帶來的工具就讚歎不已C。 20日，您只需走上樓梯，直接進入他們的工作室。他們真的很友好，會通過他們正在做的事情與您交談。另一個必須看到的是教區教堂，詹姆斯街。

Beautiful location and a stunning building, with very stylish decor. The hotel is full of character, with gorgeous stairs and small windy corridors. The staff are wonderful. Food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. The room was big, with a huge bathroom but without a shower. However the bath was gorgeous. Had to run the taps for 10 mins to get hot water for the bath, although it was only tepid. A little disappointing. The spa was clean and welcoming with a lovely pool allbeit small. I love how the spa allocates you a time, so it doesn't get crowded. Best massage and facial I have ever had. A discretionary 10% service charge of £51 was added at checkout, which I dont agree with and it was removed when requested. Will definitely be returning.

We stayed in Chipping Camden for 2 nights, our base to explore the Cotswolds by car. There's free street parking avilable near the Inn. We had Room #8 on the 1st floor, which faces the main street - which was surprisingly quiet at night (possibly due to its location) despite the very popular and noisy bar downstairs. It wasn't ensuite (missed that detail while booking) but had a private attached bathroom (exclusive set of keys provided to us) outside. The room is reasonably sized and well equipped (coffee facilities, a small sink etc.). Breakfast is served at the Maharaja restaurant downstairs, with a good spread also catering to veggies like us. Overall, great value for Chipping Camden and a very comfortable stay.
