JJay-PeeMy Two-Night Stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool: Central City Experience
Just wrapped up a fantastic two-night stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool and wanted to share my thoughts! At £126.90 plus a small £4.80 property fee, it offered excellent value for a city center experience.
The location at 46-48 Foley Street puts you right in the heart of Liverpool, which was perfect for my mini-break. Being centrally located meant I could easily walk to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas without relying on transportation. The vibrant city atmosphere was right on my doorstep!
I stayed from **Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2025** — a perfect two-night city escape. Check-in after 3 PM was smooth and welcoming, and the 11 AM check-out time was standard and convenient. The staff were helpful and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived.
The hotel itself (which I could see in the booking thumbnail) had a classic Liverpool charm about it. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city.
What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking.
The app's ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features came in handy when I needed some local recommendations. The ”Manage Booking” function made it easy to keep all my travel details organized in one place.
Is it a five-star luxury hotel? No, but it doesn't claim to be. Phoenix Hotel Liverpool delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-located place to stay at a reasonable price point that lets you experience the best of Liverpool without breaking the bank.
**Would I recommend it?** Absolutely! If you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Liverpool with good amenities and friendly service, this place ticks all the boxes. Perfect for weekend city breaks, concert-goers, or anyone wanting to soak up Liverpool's vibrant atmosphere.

Good location. Breakfast are expensive at over £15pp. Also we had to ask for a heater as the room wasnt warm (and the heating wouldnt work - had this numerous times before).

訪訪客用戶地理位置優越，靠近商店和火車站，步行僅需5分鐘。房間設施簡單但乾淨。淋浴很棒，河景也不錯。房間隔音效果很好，聽不到外面繁忙的馬路噪音，這點很棒。早餐很美味，冷熱菜種類豐富。咖啡一般，但這只是個人口味。
唯一的缺點是沒有休閒設施，儘管隔壁就有一個。房間裡的風扇噪音有點大。

訪訪客用戶真的很可愛的酒店,美麗的大房間,舒適的牀,所有你需要的冰箱,吹風機甚至長袍。早餐很冷,所以我不推薦,但酒店很棒,商店和快餐場所步行5分鐘。

訪訪客用戶酒店位置設備都好。其中一個女服務員(高瘦黑人)態度差。17日當晚check in時，可能見我係華人，對我態度傲慢。20日我用房卡拍卡搭没返應，到前台查詢，原來房卡只設3晚，我本身入住4晚，佢將房卡設為3晚，訂單是17-21，無可能會錯，根是係人嘅問題

訪訪客用戶When we arrived, we noticed we had been given a far inferior room than we've ever had before. The view was terrible. There was no fridge which we have always had before and the room looked 'tired'...in need of TLC.
I went to reception to tell them I was not happy. Anyway they did sort it. Gave us another room with a better view and the young girl on reception brought us an old, but working mini fridge.. so it worked out OK in the end ( I need a fridge to put some of my medication in.) Another lady on the desk was very curt when I said there was no fridge and stated....not all rooms automatically have a fridge in them. Sorry but I thought they did.
Whoever makes loose leaf tea in the restaurant needs to learn it is 1 tsp of tea per person and 1 for the pot. In this case 3tsp of tea and not half a teapot full. I kid you not. See pic below. We got a refund for some of the tea, but nit for the cream tea my friend had. My friend had ordered a cream tea and me, just a tea. Yet they brought a pot of tea for 2, which is the wrong etiquette for an order like this. Hence we only got 2 cups out of it, because of the amount of loose tea in there.
I think I have been spoiled by the superior standard of the rooms, when we have stayed before....I just presumed all their rooms would be like this

SS.Y.@J新開業沒幾年的新酒店，諾富特品牌，服務是相對稱的，前台的服務很熱心很專業，自己定錯了日子的房間，補了房間差價後，免費升級給我們一間雙床房。酒店乾淨整潔，淋浴的水壓很高，下水道口流水也快，到底是新酒店呀。如果非要吐槽一下的話，那就是淋浴房沒有門。

訪訪客用戶我個人發現這家飯店和網站上的描述完全一樣！我和朋友合租了一間豪華雙床房，比我住過的大多數房間都大得多，也舒適得多！沒有什麼好抱怨的！所有披頭四的照片和紀念品都與說明的完全一致，在我看來，作為披頭四的忠實粉絲，這為這家很棒的酒店增添了光彩！事實上，它距離洞穴俱樂部 (Cavern Club) 非常近，位於利物浦「音樂」中心的正中央，擁有「多元化」的夜生活氛圍，這正是我想要的！但轉過街角，回到飯店，氣氛又恢復了安靜、冷靜！兩全其美！週末晚上，很酷的酒吧裡有現場音樂演奏，還有美味的自助早餐，幾乎有您想要的一切！一點兒抱怨也沒有！這確實是我的經驗！快速、簡單的檢查和退房！無法理解我在預訂前讀到的負面評論，這確實幾乎讓我放棄了預訂！我只能說，這些負面評論要不是不尋常的，就是出自非常挑剔的人，就是極度例外！ 10 分滿分！飯店全體員工持續努力！正是您讓這一切運作得如此順利！時尚的坎寧 (Canning)，位於格拉斯哥附近的馬瑟韋爾 (Motherwell)！
