英國坎布里亞的4 星級飯店

Booked in for 1 night to have a rest in some luxurious surroundings after a lot of travelling around the country visiting friends. Hunday Manor is a beautiful old house in a fantastic spot on the side of a hill with a great view. The hotel is very well appointed and the rooms are well looked after. The quality of the food for both an evening meal and the cooked-to-order breakfast was excellent. Perhaps the only facility I would add is a few overnight EV charge points in the car park. The service however was rather comical, starting with check-in. After confirming my name, 1 night stay, and printing out the reservation sheet, somehow the chap on reception muddled up my solo reservation with a couple arriving on the same day who were staying for a couple of weeks and gave me their room. After settling in for a much needed afternoon nap in the very comfortable bed and 'locking' the door on the inside, the rather startled couple walked in having been given a card for the same room. From that point on I never really managed to relax. I offered to move room when I went down for dinner later on, but the chap declined and mumbled something odd about the length of stay and seemed to point at the paperwork suggesting I had signed it making it my mistake! Sigh. Things didn't get a lot better in the restaurant. Myself and another solo traveller were given tables at the back (by the same chap), seemingly to keep us out the way of the couples who arrived later and were seated at the windows. When either of us asked questions about the menu there was lack of understanding about the dishes.. I was then asked around half a dozen times by multiple staff if everything was ok. Meanwhile I could hear one of the couples quitely chatting about their room, no doubt the room I was in. Upon trying to put the bill on my room, the same chap from earlier left me at the bar with a card machine asking whether I wanted to add a tip. At breakfast the next morning it continued. When I arrived the first breakfast room was full of tables needing clearing so I was given a table in the same area where I had dinner. This time given a table at the window but right in front of the only other guest, a lady already eating her breakfast. My table wasn't set so inexplicably the waiter clumsily took a second place-setting from her table while she was midway through eating! After dusting a few crumbs from one of the plates I enjoyed my breakfast. Towards the end of eating the staff were discussing how to rearrange the room for an event later in the day and started moving things around. After hearing the same couple from dinner asking to be told when their room was made available, cleaners were hanging around at the bottom of the stairs when I returned to the room. Nothing like a bit of a hurry up to finish breakfast and get out of your room to make you feel like a valued guest. Upon check-out an apology and a chat but by then the damage was done. No offer to comp a drink (or dinne)r after making a mess of things either. It's a lovely hotel that could offer a real 5-star experience, but the service ended up more like an episode of Fawlty Towers and needs a bit of a rethink. Next stop China.

朗姆酒塗鴉,這是我們第一次在湖區,當然不會是我們的最後一次!位置正好位於溫德米爾鎮和鮑內斯之間,可以步行到兩者。步行距離內有很多商店、酒吧和餐館,還有溫德米爾湖本身。 我們輕鬆地找到了朗姆塗鴉,在門口迎接了一個微笑和友好的人(主人,但沒有抓住他的名字)。我們買了一杯新鮮的蘋果和橙汁到我們的房間,經過長途開車到溫德米爾後,這令人耳目一新。我們的房間很舒適,不太大或太小,衣櫃,在飄窗的座位,吹風機,熱飲製作設施,帶軟木螺絲的酒杯和開瓶器。非常現代,乾淨,佈置得很好的浴室,毛巾柔軟蓬鬆,淋浴真的很好。牀很舒服,在忙碌的一天探索週邊地區後歡迎。 早餐真的很好,有麥片,新鮮水果和酸奶,吐司,然後早餐的選擇也很棒。 我們在早餐時與在那裏工作的女士進行了愉快而翔實的聊天,她讓我們在一些駕駛路線上擡起頭,試圖避免這真的很有用。 經過一天的探索,我們回到了朗姆塗鴉,來到一個打掃乾淨的房間,用茶和咖啡補充新鮮的牀,所以我們只能放下,牀有一個漂亮的杯子和餅乾。然後出去散步,一些可愛的食物和幾杯飲料。 我們無法推薦湖和朗姆酒塗鴉足夠!非常值得每一分錢

基本房一晚 200 英鎊對我來說有點貴，但還是很不錯。一些基本房間的照片具有誤導性。照片顯示的是一張四柱雙人床，但事實並非如此。後來我們發現這實際上是一間行政房，儘管它被標記為基本房。 我們發現從奧克森霍姆火車站乘坐巴士即可到達酒店位置（儘管相反），並且可以欣賞到美麗田野的美景。飯店裡的食物很好，但是很貴……當我看到哪怕是最少量的麵包也要收費 8 英鎊時，我的眼珠子都快瞪出來了。我想說這可能是餐廳空無一人的原因，儘管被告知我們需要預訂一張桌子，因為它很受歡迎。游泳池和蒸氣浴的價格是平均水平。 工作人員很友好，在錯誤地將我們安排在雙床臥室後，免費將我們的房間改為雙人床房。

We booked the Superior Double Room and I felt it was well worth the extra for the gorgeous view we had from 2 large windows - whether the skies were sunny or cloudy. The location was excellent - within 5 to 10mins walk to the town and to Derwent Water and parking was well explained and ample. On entering Fellpack House, it was pleasant, well cared for and inviting. Our room on the top floor (stairs all the way up) was straight out of a home & decor magazine. The amenities, furnishing, towels and beverages were quality stuff and we saw that they also used locally sourced soaps and beverages. Housekeeping was daily and I loved that the gave us delicious chewy chocolate chip cookies each day! The breakfast was fresh & flavourful. That they started off as a restaurant (that operates across the road and is highly rated) carries through in their breakfast - I ate so much and it was worth every calorie! Best of all were the staff. We met many over the course of our stay and every one of them were warm, chatty, highly customer-oriented and witty! Can you tell how much I loved our stay there 😀

1、酒店位置很好，走路去遊船碼頭也就10分鐘之內，附近餐廳非常多，食宿都很方便。房間很大，還有一個客廳，出乎意料，但客廳一側在床邊，旁邊就是街道，早晚有些吵，特別是英國車速一般都比較快，要略注意。早餐是提前準備的麵包酸奶麥片牛奶之類，有的在冰箱裏，有的在儲物櫃裏，不要有太大期待。 2、自駕過來的話，和前台要一張停車卡，每天3英鎊，無限停車，有好幾個位置可以停車，其實很方便。離開的時候，可以先去停車場開車，回來的時候把鑰匙和停車卡放前台就可以。

酒店環境優美，鄉間別墅，英倫風格非常經典；酒店服務人員熱情接待，特別是早餐很有特色，味道也不錯；房間乾淨整潔舒適温馨；酒店位置也較好，離湖區碼頭和公交車站很近，到温德米爾此酒店值得一住。

地址位置實在太棒了，在 博內斯碼頭就看到了酒店的招牌，酒店門前一片大大的草坪正對碼頭，到的那天陽光正好，在酒店草坪前看夕陽落下，真的是美爆了 晚飯也沒去外面，就在酒店餐廳吃的 view 那麼好，關鍵價格也不貴，尤其是吃到了此行最愛吃的一道菜，龍蝦色拉，其實有點像我們愛吃的小龍蝦拌麪，12 磅，超值 還有酒店服務也很好，有讓來指路，還有服務生介紹怎麼用古老電梯，真的細節滿分

環境：漂亮的英式老房子，內部精緻小巧、整潔乾淨，很多可愛的小擺件。 設施：床品温暖，毛巾雪白，免費氣泡水、歡迎牛奶。有熱水壺，床頭USB插座。 餐點：早餐七八種套餐可選，全英式的非常豐盛，甚至可以選擇低卡咖啡、低卡茶！ 服務：房東很和善、紳士，會用漢語講「煎蛋」、「荷包蛋」哦。

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stafford Guest House. The property is beautiful, set within peaceful surroundings and complemented by a lovely garden. We stayed in the four-poster bedroom, which was spacious, tastefully decorated, and perfectly balanced comfort with a touch of luxury. It also offered delightful views overlooking the garden. Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, providing engaging conversation as well as helpful local recommendations. Everything was clearly explained upon arrival, making the entire experience smooth and effortless from the very beginning. Breakfast was both delicious and generous in portion. Additionally, there is a charming village pub just a short walk away — The Boot & Shoe Inn — which added to the experience. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

衞生：算比較乾淨，不過電視櫃有幾根頭髮，衞浴和床上用品挺乾淨，隔離就是公交車站和各種餐廳超市加油呀，🅿️也ok 環境：在公園旁邊的馬路邊上，還不錯，還算安靜 我住的4號房，實際比圖片好看一些，稍微新一點，原本以為又是圖片上那種30年前那種傢俱，但實際可能就10年輕那種田園風，房間也挺大，大箱子也能展開， 服務：早上可以點餐，includ還算豐富 設施：住一樓，衹有幾步梯子需要提行李箱 缺點，一樓一定要拉窗簾，不然偶爾路過能看到房間裏，一到晚上22點後會有一股**氣味，有點受不了，房間門好像鎖不了，我也沒什麼貴重物品，也沒去問，就這樣住了3天，整體還是性價比不錯，畢竟這是在英國度假區最火的夏天，就不要有什麼大的期待，
