This was our first trip to Zanzibar and we were very much looking forward to a lovely stay and the pristine beaches we have heard so much about. First impression was poor welcome at the reception and smelly worn down rooms. The rooms took me back to my backpacking days 30 years ago. The atmosphere is that of a low budget charter trip. Not much we could do about the hotel which was prepaid, so we decided to make the best of our stay despite the place. But it just got worse. Worse service we’ve ever had, anywhere. - (argument about breakfast included in the booking which they wouldn’t give us - tried to kick us out a day early, before realizing it was their mistake, but never even said sorry - most miserable staff I’ve ever seen anywhere (understandably, having to work under that management). - toilet not working so we had to change room - 10USD deposit for beach towels - not possible to use the beach. Well, it’s possible but not at all inviting, with lots of traffic (local young boys) wandering up and down the beach making it a through road, lots of boats and sea urchins. At high tide the whole beach is under water (hence the beach is always wet during low tide) Luckily the on site PADI dive center (completely independent of the hotel) was fantastic. Every morning they took us out by boat to snorkel and dive. They saved our holiday and we had a great time. But we’ll never return to Zanzibar. If you’re looking for a pristine beach holiday, there are so many better places around the world.

It was my third or fourth stay here and it was great as always! The location on the beach is brilliant, the environment very nice.. rooms big and well equipped.. restaurant on the beach also okay, do not expect super quality meal, more average and overpriced, beer quite expensive (sometimes served hot, not cold).. only one dislike, they always charge +3% when you pay the bill by a card (with their overpriced prices they should have this already included in the price). The overall experience is very good and those minor things which I didn't like.. well, I will survive.

It's an amazing hotel, the staff is very nice and welcoming, the rooms are spacious and big, Khaled the manager is a great guy. I recommend it to everyone, the place is fantastic and very well placed.

優點：酒店非常大設施也不錯，很乾凈。單獨擁有一片海灘，可以租借沖浪設備之類的，出海追海豚也方便。 位置獨立離島上其他地方有點遠，感覺住1-2天就可以了。 缺點：服務感覺有點漫不經心的，中午預訂了beach club的午餐，到了之後竟然説我們的午餐有人吃了，還特別不相信我們的樣子。那個服務員的態度特別讓人生氣，都花了好幾千住酒店了，誰還能因為一頓午飯説謊呀。這個服務真的絕了，不知道服務員怎麼培訓的。花了幾千塊，服務還這麼糟心。 在這裏就別期待啥星級服務了，然後也別預訂特殊餐廳了，直接吃自助餐廳吧，省時省事還不會生氣。

Stilish, classy and decadent in every aspect. Food is phenomenal to say the least, rooms and facilities are exceptional and the resort offers more than expected. This is the second Christmas and New Year spent at Gold and we never get tired of it. Definitely a 5 star from every angle and exceptional value for money. The hotel's manager Roberto is always present, aware and welcoming, which is a big contribution to the place's success.

Tui Blue Bahari is 5*+ There is space, good food, great private beaches, 5 restaurants, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. There were more sunbeds than guests when we stayed and towels are available poolside. There are bars in the garden, by the beach and at the pool, which are all manned with waiters and bar staff who are happy and efficient. The hotel has security and a private beach and the local tour sellers wait at the beach for you to engage. If you walk straight into the sea from the resort you'll find starfish, urchins and Dory fish. The room door we had wouldn't lock with a firm push and a couple times after the cleaners had been it was unlocked. Overall though 9.5/10 I'd recommend for any special occasion, or for those who want to safari in Tanzania, or swim with dolphins in Mnemba.

這裏很少有中國人，大部分歐洲人，這裏很大很美，房間也很大，有陽台有浴缸，裝飾風格很現代，十幾棟房子，就是沒電梯，像一個景區一樣，事實上也是如此，進來后要帶一個手環，酒店內的設施，泳池，都可以用，包三餐，酒水飲料無限暢飲，是休閑度假的好去處

The location of the hotel on the beach is excellent, most beautiful sunset views and the infinity pool is a nice touch. There is ample space to lounge out on with the beach in view. The food was good and every night was different. Breakfast was the same every morning. The hotel however is not well maintained. While the pools, outside gardens and surroundings are neat and taken care of the rooms could do with some maintenance. The taps seemed either rusted or burnt with acid. The shower head looked like it had dried grime that cannot be cleaned. Although the room and bathroom is always kept clean it just needs some new finishing. The bar fridge never worked so the drinks were always warm. The bar fridge was so discolored (was white but now yellow) and rusted. We requested to be moved because the initial room was located close to a nearby club so the door would rattle because of the bass at the club. It was quieter where they moved us but the door couldn’t lock, one day there was no water in the bathroom so could not flush or shower. The safe was old so also struggled everytime we needed to open and close it. It really just needs some money to be spent on little things. I spoke to another guest who mentioned their aircon was leaking and that they also felt the hotel needed some care.

The hotel is very nice, it’s very quiet though and doesn’t seem to be very popular among travels choice here. The room was spacious, and clean, the staff were very friendly. The WiFi was great. The breakfast was good. A few options for cereals and fruit , coffee and tea as well as options for cooked meals. The location isn’t bad but also not amazing. The beach directly in front of the hotel is not the main beach, there’s a lot of seaweed but it’s only a 10 minute walk along the beach to the nicer beach area. 20 minutes of walking along the roads. Considering the price for what you get I think it’s overpriced but in all honestly so are all the other hotels on the island.

I arrived initially with a tour group but stayed an extra five nights by myself. The staff at the hotel were great - in order not to move me out of the room I was already in, I was allowed to stay in a better room than what I had paid for, which was very kind! The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, and the hotel’s beach was great - being situated just above the formal beach means that you aren’t troubled by people trying to sell you tours etc (which happened a lot when I walked along the beach below and when we went for a Dhow cruise at another beach!). The room had aircon and was attractively made up. The other thing to mention that was good was that it had one-way glass, so I could see out when I had the curtains open but people couldn’t see into my room (very important with the floor to ceiling windows for the ocean view!). The staff were all very hardworking - the restaurant staff were polite, and made conversation with me, which was nice as a solo traveller! To mention as well, I had said to the cleaner that I liked the flowers that she left in my room, and each day after if she saw me on the beach, would come over with an extra flower for me - which was nice. The only thing to mention otherwise was that sometimes the food was a bit slow to come, but I generally found in the evenings that if you arrive early it is quicker. Otherwise a really great stay at the Zanzibari - thank you for looking after me so well.

ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν τόσο φιλικός και εξυπηρετικος που είναι δύσκολο να βρεις λέξεις αρκετά καλές, ήταν ΦΑΝΤΑΣΤΙΚΟΣ. Δωμάτιο κομψό και πεντακάθαρο. Καθημερινη αλλαγή πετσετων .Ωραίο πρωινό και γεύμα φανταστικοί χυμοί και κοκτέιλ （zenobia special）Ασυναγώνιστη θέα!το ξενοδοχείο είναι σε απόσταση αναπνοής από τη θάλασσα και δεν αντιμετωπίζει πρόβλημα με την παλίρροια...Κανείς δεν θα απογοητευόταν να μείνει εδώ.

This is a beautiful resort. The staff were incredibly kind and always welcome you with a smile. They have snacks and coffee/tea time throughout the day and the dinner buffets were fantastic. There is also a lot of activities like water aerobics, stretching, volleyball. The only downside: people are allowed to smoke everywhere, on the beach, by the pool, the lobby, the chill areas. It’s really gross and very unhealthy for those who do not smoke.

Sultan Sands in Zanzibar is a fantastic hotel to unwind after a few days on safari. The rooms are excellent (spacious, quiet, and comfortable). The social areas are also well above average, with four pools (including a quieter one for those looking to truly relax), several restaurants, bars, and various game areas like snooker and ping pong. There’s even a spot for beach soccer and volleyball. The staff is attentive and professional, from the gardeners to the receptionists, restaurant staff, and entertainers. Everyone we encountered was friendly and eager to ensure we had a great stay. Two standout aspects of Sultan Sands, in my opinion, are the quality of the food and the beach. - The food is local, spicy, and of excellent quality with a great variety to choose from. - The beach right in front of the hotel is stunning, with soft sand, crystal-clear water, and a perfect temperature. Surrounding the hotel, the beach area has several shops selling local crafts, and there are also numerous vendors who enjoy chatting with tourists. While they are keen to sell their products, they are polite and not overly pushy if you’re not interested, which adds a charming and authentic local flavor to the area. There are a couple of areas where the hotel could improve: 1) The hotel should invest in maintaining the cleanliness of the beach in front of and around the property. The beach and ocean are beautiful, but there is quite a bit of plastic and some litter that should be collected. While I understand that the beach isn't the hotel's direct responsibility, they have enough staff to handle this additional task and greatly enhance the cleanliness of the environment. I strongly believe the hotel should work to ensure the beach is consistently clean and should encourage their staff and local vendors to participate in regular cleanups. 2) All goods at the hotel (food, drinks) are priced in the local currency. However, when it comes time to settle the bill via credit card at the end of the stay, the hotel only accepts payment in USD, with an exorbitant exchange rate—nearly 15% higher than the actual rate. If prices are displayed in the local currency, it doesn’t seem fair to force guests to pay in USD, especially with such a significant markup. My final payment ended up being considerably higher than the advertised cost for additional products and services.
