.......mi sono fermato una notte, in transito da Lamezia. A dispetto della modestia del primo approccio il piccolo hotel Sogni d'oro Airport è davvero ottimo. Si fa perdonare subito qualche segno di usura dei pavimenti o di qualche arredo, queste cose non influiscono affatto sulla funzionalità, efficienza, pulizia, disponibilità del personale . Ottima colazione. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è straordinario, prezzo da b&b. trattamento decorosissimo da hotel a tre stelle con tutti i relativi confort. Ci tornerò sicuramente.

We were nervous to book here based on the mix reviews. Especially this being the only 3 star hotel we booked throughout our trip however, it had the most comfiest bed out of all our stays in Italy. The only downfall to the excellent location is the parking as it is difficult to find at busy times. However, the payable option is almost always available on the blue line side. Breakfast was okay not a whole ton of options. Everything was clean to standard except for the shower… we wore sandals due to the black mold in the corners of the shower. Not to make excuses, but I find this common in a lot of Italy’s hotels as you need to take into consideration of how old most of these places are. Overall, it was a pretty good stay since most of the time you are out and about exploring.

The Grand Hotel Excelsior is located at the center of Reggio, walking distance to all the amenities, museums, seafront and worth mentioning best ice cream place! The facilities are great, but the most importantly thing to mention is the welcoming atmosphere, professionalism and willingness to go a step further to help their guests. Excellent position close to beautiful via Marina with old giant trees, elegant corso Garibaldi, the Harbour hidtofoils peer to Messina and the foremost interesting archeological museums with the impressive statues of Bronzi di Riace. The rooms are spacious and clean with nice bathrooms. The location is quiet and the staff is kind and supportive. There is also a small and good restaurant to solve the needs of a quick tasty dinner. The hotel claims four star but there are some doubts because of absence e. g. of courtesy slipperies and bathrobe, the non convenient location and unavailability of electric sockets ose to the bed nor USB ports.

Ein Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber vom Bahnhof und unmittelbar an der Hauptstraße, also ideal zur Zwischenübernachtung. Positiv anzumerken ist auf jeden Fall die Freundlichkeit des Personals, sowie die Parkmöglichkeiten an der Rückseite. Man geht vom Parkplatz zum Hotel durch eine Art Tunnel, trockenen Fußes und sicher, doch dann kommt die Treppe. Es gibt zwar einen Aufzug, der für das Untergeschoß jedoch für Gäste nicht nutzbar ist. Das Zimmer machte einen etwas abgewohnten Eindruck, es ist aber sauber. Die Betten sind einigermaßen bequem, allerdings ist der Fernsehempfang defekt. Selbst der Rezeptionist konnte daran nichts ändern. Das Restaurant ist sauber und macht einen guten Eindruck, die Speisen sind sehr gut. Allerdings, der Ober brachte uns die Getränke und das Essen - und das war's. Es wurde weder abgeräumt, noch kam jemand, um sich nach weiteren Wünschen zu erkundigen. Dafür war das Frühstück ausgezeichnet mit sehr nettem Personal.

Arrived after midnight and was met by Lorenzo on very good form. We had booked the penthouse apartment for 4 nights, and we were very happy with the accommodation - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a large living area with an open kitchen. The stars of the show are definitely the outside terrace, and the apartments location - very central for all amenities and a short walk to the beach, bars, and restaurants. Lorenzo arranged our transfers and indulged us with a welcome drink or 3, which, after arriving late, was most welcome . We all loved Reggio Calabria and plan to return. If we do, we will definitely stop at the Pellicano again.

Ero ad un convegno medico. Sono rimasto davvero e entusiasta dell’impareggiabile gentilezza di tutto il personale, sempre disponibile e sorridente. La struttura e’ molto bella con piscina immersa nel verde e con la spiaggia privata a cui si accede con un sottopasso sicuro di 50 metri. Consigliato per qualsiasi tipo di persona, dalle famiglie ai viaggi di lavoro. Di più non si può’ chiedere

Abbiamo trascorso cinque notti in questo albergo e ci ritornerei. E' centralissimo, personale gentile, colazione, seppure servita in una bella terrazza al 6^ piano, insoddisfaciente. La parte dolce quasi immangiabile.. Al Sud è un peccato!! Camera non grandissima, ma confortevole. Il bagno lascia un po’ a desiderare per la rubinetteria.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per un viaggio di famiglia,purtroppo solo una notte,ma torneremo sicuramente. Il personale è veramente gentile. Abbiamo dormito in una suite,molto comoda e spaziosa,camere pulite e colazione ricca di scelta ed abbondante. Lo consigliamo vivamente.

We have stayed at the Palace Hotel many times as we visit family in the area. It is consistently outstanding! The hotel was renovated in the last couple of years and it has only improved with that effort. The hotel, view of the sea, and location are all excellent. However, it is the truly friendly staff that distinguishes every stay. From reception to the wait staff, they are all friendly, smiling, and helpful. A great choice to stay if in Catanzaro Lido!!

Molto vicino al centro ma in posizione riparata da rumore e fastidi, questa struttura è stata davvero comoda per me. Si vede che è un pò datata ma il comfort di base c'è e anzi per certi versi è estremo. Camera grande con bagno altrettanto spazioso, letti comodi e sonno silenzioso. Ottima colazione servita nel ristorante aperto stagionalmente.
